Abstract: Disclosed is a group trigger method, apparatus, and system. In embodiments of the present invention, the group trigger system includes: an interworking function (IWF) entity, configured to send a trigger delivery request to an entity that has a trigger function; and the entity that has a trigger function, configured to, after receiving the trigger delivery request sent by the IWF entity, return a trigger delivery acknowledgement message to the IWF entity, and delivers, according to the trigger delivery request, an acquired group trigger payload to a user equipment UE. The entity that has a group trigger function delivers the group trigger payload to the UE, so as to effectively implement group trigger, avoid point-to-point trigger, and save system resources.

Abstract: A method and device for controlling sending of a general data transfer platform (GTP) message, and a data sending method and device are provided. A GTP message sending device receives a no-response time indication of user equipment sent from a GTP message response device, where the no-response time indication indicates a no-response time of the user equipment in an implicit or explicit manner, the GTP message sending device adjusts, according to the no-response time of the user equipment indicated by the received no-response time indication of the user equipment, a time of sending a GTP message, where adjusting the time of sending the GTP message is specifically postponing the time of sending the GTP message as the no-response time of the user equipment increases, or bringing forward the time of sending the GTP message as the no-response time of the user equipment decreases.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method which includes: receiving a message, where the message carries a parameter indicating a validity period of a short message sent to a user or indication information indicating whether a record needs to be added to MWD of a user when a short message cannot be transmitted or fails to be transmitted; determining that the short message cannot be transmitted or the short message fails to be transmitted, and a value of the parameter is 0 or the indication information indicates that the record does not need to be added to the MWD of the user when the short message cannot be transmitted or fails to be transmitted; and skipping adding the record to the MWD of the user, where the record includes an identifier of a service center for short message service serving the user. According to the method, additional signaling interaction is reduced.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a coverage enhancement (CE) function implementation method and a device. The method may include obtaining, by a first radio access network node, CE authorization information of a terminal. The CE authorization information may include at least one of the following: CE indication information and an authorized CE level range. Further, the method may include determining, by the first radio access network node based on the CE authorization information, whether a CE level of the terminal meets an authorization requirement, and controlling, based on an authorization result, use of a CE function by the terminal. It can be learned that, not all terminals can use the CE function, but only an authorized terminal can use the CE function, to ensure that the terminal can use the CE function properly within an authorized range and to improve radio channel resource use efficiency.

Abstract: A data communication method, a communication system, and related devices are configured to establish a transaction identifier (TI) in a user equipment (UE). The data communication method includes the following steps. A mobility management entity (MME) receives a request message and obtains ability information of the UE. If the UE has an ability to access a Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network/GSM/EDGE Radio Access Network (UTRAN/GERAN), the MME generates the TI. A communication system and related devices are also provided. Thus, the TI is effectively established in the UE, so as to ensure normal processing of the UE.
