摘要： A shield connector wherein maintenance thereof such as replacement of terminals can be performed readily and admission of water is prevented. The shield connector comprises a tubular outer housing made of an insulating resin material, a tubular metal shell inserted in the outer housing and having a semi-annular contacting portion formed thereon, an inner housing made of an insulating resin material and inserted in the metal shell, a plurality of terminals removably accommodated in the inner housing and connected to a shield cable, a rear shell removably fitted in the metal shell and having a semi-annular contacting portion formed thereon, an annular cap made of an insulating resin material for removably holding therein the semi-annular contacting portions of the metal shell and the rear shell with a shield portion of the shield cable inserted between the semi-annular contacting portions, and a rear cover made of a synthetic resin material and removably fitted with a rear end portion of the outer housing. The shield cable extends through the rear cover.

摘要： An improved electrical connector is described herein. The electrical connector includes a male connector member and a female connector member to be fitted to the male connector member. The male connector member includes an intermediate connector section and a joint connector section both having a plurality of electrical terminals therein. The female connector member also includes an intermediate connector section having a plurality of electrical terminals therein and a joint connector section having no electrical terminals therein, in which the electrical terminals in the intermediate connector section of the female connector member are adapted to be connected to the terminals in the intermediate connector section of the male connector member to establish electrical connection between these terminals when the male and female connector members are fitted together. The electrical connector further includes a joint member for establishing electrical connection among at least two of the terminals in the second section of the first connector member. The joint member is adapted to be removably fitted to the at least two electrical terminals of the second section of the first connector member and to achieve electrical connection therebetween through the connecting member when the joint member is fitted thereto.

摘要： A male terminal comprises an electrical contact portion and an insulating member made of insulating material. The electrical contact portion is inserted into and connected to a female terminal. The insulating member includes a to-be-received portion accommodated in the electrical contact portion and a to-be-exposed portion. The electrical contact portion includes a bottom wall upon which the to-be-received portion is disposed, and a top wall. The to-be-received portion is positioned between the bottom wall and the top wall having a securing engagement portion brought into engagement with the to-be-received portion. The male terminal is made by placing the to-be-received portion upon the bottom wall while the bottom wall, the top wall, and the securing engagement portion are flush with each other, bending them such that the to-be-received portion resides between the top wall and the bottom wall, and bringing the securing engagement portion into engagement with the to-be-received portion.

摘要： A rear combination lamp comprises a lamp body (2) including socket mounting portions (3) and a lens portion (6), and sockets (20). Lamps are respectively attached to the sockets. Each of the socket mounting portions has a hollow construction of a generally truncated pyramid-shaped. Conductors (4, 11) are mounted on rear end portions of the socket mounting portions to form a predetermined circuit. Connection terminals (23) each having a conductor contact portion (24) are arranged within the sockets. The respective conductor contact portions project from flanges (22) or socket bodies (21) of the sockets so as to contact the respective conductors. When the respective sockets are mounted in the respective socket mounting portions, the respective conductors can be electrically connected to the respective lamps through the conductor contact portions of the connection terminals. The socket mounting portions may include ribs (10), fixing ribs (7) and fixing holes (9) for installing the conductors (4).

摘要： A connector having an engagement detecting device, comprises: a first connector housing (100) for housing a plurality of first connector terminals (23); a second connector housing (200) for housing a plurality of second connector terminals (21) mated with the first connector terminals, and engaged with the first connector housing; a slider (300, 300A) inserted into the first connector housing in two stages of a half engagement position and a full engagement position; and a short-circuit spring (400) disposed within the first connector housing, for shorting electrically two adjacent mated connector terminals (23, 21) when the slider is inserted into the first connector housing to the half engagement position, but disconnecting electrically the same two adjacent mated connector terminals when the second connector housing (200) is engaged with the first connector housing (100) and thereafter the slider is further inserted into the first connector housing to the full engagement position. The short-circuit spring (400) can apply a reaction force to the slider when the slider is further inserted to the full engagement position, thus providing a stable connector engagement detecting device while decreasing the number of parts.
