摘要: A rear combination lamp comprises a lamp body (2) including socket mounting portions (3) and a lens portion (6), and sockets (20). Lamps are respectively attached to the sockets. Each of the socket mounting portions has a hollow construction of a generally truncated pyramid-shaped. Conductors (4, 11) are mounted on rear end portions of the socket mounting portions to form a predetermined circuit. Connection terminals (23) each having a conductor contact portion (24) are arranged within the sockets. The respective conductor contact portions project from flanges (22) or socket bodies (21) of the sockets so as to contact the respective conductors. When the respective sockets are mounted in the respective socket mounting portions, the respective conductors can be electrically connected to the respective lamps through the conductor contact portions of the connection terminals. The socket mounting portions may include ribs (10), fixing ribs (7) and fixing holes (9) for installing the conductors (4).

摘要: In a primary molding step, a connector housing having a hood portion is molded. In a secondary molding step, an elastic seal ring is molded on an inner side of the hood portion. Through holes are formed in the connector housing in the primary molding step which allow an elastic material to flow therethrough from a seal ring-forming portion on the inner side of the hood portion to an outer side of the hood portion, and which retain part of the seal ring formed at the seal ring-forming portion when the elastic material is cured. An air reservoir portion is formed in a secondary mold, which communicates with outer open ends of the through holes in the connector housing in the secondary molding step.

摘要: A double-lock connector includes a connector housing having terminal receiving chambers, metal terminals for being inserted respectively into the terminal receiving chambers, and a terminal retainer connectable to a rear end portion of the connector housing in a two-stage manner, that is, in a provisionally-connected condition and a completely-connected condition, wherein even when the terminal retainer in the provisionally-connected condition, the metal terminal can be smoothly inserted into the connector housing. The double-lock connector of the present invention includes a connector housing and a terminal retainer for being inserted into the connector housing. The connector housing has a plurality of terminal receiving chambers which are separated from one another by a horizontal partition wall and a vertical partition wall. An elastic retaining piece is provided within each of the terminal receiving chambers. A rearwardly-extending tongue-like terminal guide piece is formed on the horizontal partition wall, separating the upper and lower terminal receiving chambers from each other, and is disposed centrally with the width of each terminal receiving chamber. A front end of the terminal guide piece is extended substantially to an inlet end of the connector housing.

摘要: One connector housing includes a resilient locking arm having a through-hole provided at its tip, a pair of detection terminals attached to said resilient locking arm and opposed to the through-hole, a first spring portion provided on the side of a warping space of the resilient locking arm and inserted between the resilient locking arm and the pair of detection terminals, the first spring portion having a protrusion to be engaged in said through-hole so as to force the locking arm in an anti-warping direction, and a second spring portion always forcing said resilient locking arm in the anti-warping direction. Another connector housing includes an engagement protrusion which is to be engaged in the through-hole to push the protrusion, thereby warping the first spring portion in an anti-forcing direction to be brought into contact with the pair of detection terminals. Thus, connector fitting of one and another connector housings can be surely detected electrically. The fitting detection connector can have a buffer spring member which is arranged between the contact portion and intrusion protrusion of the first spring portion.

摘要: A connector with a terminal retainer in which when a metal terminal is to be detached by moving a flexible deformable plate of a terminal retainer, excessive deflection of the flexible deformable plate is prevented. A terminal retainer is connected to a connector housing in a two-stage manner, that is, first in a provisionally-connected condition and then in a completely-connected condition. In the provisionally-connected condition, a flexible deformable plate of the terminal retainer rests on push-up projections to enable the insertion of a metal terminal. In this condition, when the flexible deformable plate is to be deflected outwardly, the flexible deformable plate abuts against an excessive deflection-preventing portion, and is prevented from being damaged.

摘要: Described herein is a terminal connector retainer particularly suitable for use with a wire harness connector, which is fittingly interlockable with a rear portion of a connector housing for securely and extractably anchoring terminal members in terminal compartments in the connector housing. The terminal connector basically includes; a frame-like body internally provided with openings for insertion therethrough of wires with terminal members, and a plural number of resilient terminal anchoring fingers extending forwardly into the terminal compartments in the connector housing; the resilient anchoring fingers being capable of restoring an original form by the resiliency thereof when the retainer is in a finally interlocked state, and in the restored original form anchoring the terminal members securely in position in the respective terminal compartments in the connector housing.

摘要: Disclosed is a terminal retainer mounted on a rear portion of a connector housing so as to move in a two-stage manner, that is, between a provisionally-connected condition and a completely-connected condition, and in the completely-connected condition the terminal retainer can be positively engaged with metal terminals. Flexible support pieces for metal terminals are provided on a terminal retainer. A flexible retaining piece for the metal terminal is provided at each terminal receiving chamber. In the provisionally-connected condition of the terminal retainer, the flexible support piece is placed on a push-up projection of the connector housing to be held out of a path of movement of the metal terminal within the terminal receiving chamber. When the terminal retainer shifts to the completely-connected condition, a driven projection on the flexible support piece is engaged in a drive groove in the connector housing to forcibly drive the flexible support piece into engagement with the metal terminal.

摘要: An improved connector terminal is provided that is capable of being inserted more easily into a terminal accommodating chamber of a connector housing.The connector terminal comprises a wire connecting part and an electric contact part that may be inserted into the terminal accommodating chamber of a connector housing having an opening edge. The electric contact part includes a rectangular cylindrical body having two pairs of opposing walls for a total of four walls and a guide protrusion protruding continually from the tip of at least one of the four walls of the body. The guide protrusion has a guide surface that slides along the opening edge of the connector housing when the electric contact part is inserted into the terminal accommodating chamber. The guide protrusion is structured to protrude from one of the four walls so as to have substantially the same width as the wall width or structured so that a bent guide surface is formed by extending and bending tips of at least two of the four walls that have a width smaller than the width of the respective wall.
