摘要: In a radiation image read-out system in which a stimulable phosphor sheet carrying a radiation image stored thereon is exposed to stimulating rays which causes it to emit light in the pattern of the stored image, and the emitted light is photoelectrically read out, the interval between the radiation image recording on the stimulable phosphor sheet and preliminary read-out is measured, the image input information detected by the preliminary read-out is corrected according to the interval measured, and the final read-out conditions and/or the image processing conditions are set based on the corrected image input information. To determine the interval, a bar code label for identifying the phosphor sheet is attached thereto, and the time when the recording thereon is conducted is stored in a memory with respect to the bar code label. Or, a magnetic recording medium is attached to the phosphor sheet, and the recording time is recorded on the medium and read out therefrom at the time of preliminary read-out.

摘要: In a system for reading out radiation image information recorded on a stimulable phosphor sheet which emits light upon stimulation by stimulating rays according to the recorded radiation image information, the phosphor sheet is two-dimensionally scanned by a laser beam and the light emitted therefrom is detected by a photodetector. The integrated output of the photodetector is read out for every unit of time period corresponding to a picture element of the radiation image. Position reference pulses are generated every time the relative position of the laser beam scans on the phosphor sheet by a standard amount in the main scanning direction. The integrated value of the output of the photodetector is read out every time the output is integrated for a fixed time period within each time interval between the position reference pulses.

摘要: Image information stored on a recording medium is read out by photoelectrically converting light obtained by two-dimensional scanning of the image information, and integrating the electric signal by use of a plurality of integrators which are sequentially actuated each time a first clock pulse determining the picture element size is input. Integration periods are set not shorter than one clock length of the first clock pulse so that they partially overlap each other. The integration output is sampled by a second clock pulse at a point of time within the overlap region of the integration periods but outside regions where the next integrator is in the integration start transient and where the currently operating integrator is reset. The integrator reset period is set to sufficiently reset each integrator and prepare for the next integration.

摘要: A thermal recording system for recording an image on a thermo-sensitive recording medium using a laser beam under a preheated condition of the thermo-sensitive recording medium. In the thermal recording system, a preheating device preheats the thermo-sensitive recording medium which has leuco dyes, a developer and light-absorbing dyes all provided on a support, and which develops color in a continuous tone at a density corresponding to the energy of the applied heat, to a predetermined temperature less than a color-developing temperature. A heating-beam generating device allows a laser beam to scan the thermo-sensitive recording medium so as to heat the thermo-sensitive recording medium to a predetermined color-developing temperature. Thus, the heating-beam generating device can control the laser beam in a sufficient control range, thereby making it possible to record an image on the thermo-sensitive recording medium with high accuracy.

摘要: An image-wise exposure apparatus comprises a light source for producing recording light, to which a photosensitive material is to be exposed, and a spatial modulation device provided with a plurality of picture elements located in the form of a two-dimensional array. The spatial modulation device raster-scans the picture elements and thereby carries out spatial modulation of the recording light. A picture element shifting device changes the optical relationship between the spatial modulation device and the photosensitive material. A controller sets all of the picture elements of the spatial modulation device to a totally closed condition for a single frame period and drives the picture element shifting device while all of the picture elements of the spatial modulation device are being in the totally closed condition. Effects of a picture element shifting operation are thereby obtained sufficiently, and image-wise exposure is carried out quickly.

摘要: An image-wise exposure apparatus comprises a light source for producing recording light, to which a photosensitive material is to be exposed, and a spatial modulation device, which is provided with an array of picture elements and carries out spatial modulation of the recording light. A shifting device changes the optical relationship between the spatial modulation device and the photosensitive material. In cases where the number of exposure dots formed on the photosensitive material is increased by a factor of m with a picture element shifting step carried out with respect to a certain array direction of the picture elements, and the period, with which periodical nonuniformity in image density obtained by exposure occurs with respect to the array direction of the picture elements when the shifting step is not carried out, is n times as long as the pitch between the picture elements, the distance of shift of the picture elements with respect to the array direction of the picture elements is set to be approximately (n.+-.1)/m times as long as the pitch between the picture elements.

摘要: A beam-combining laser beam source device comprising an airtight housing and a laser beam source unit housed in the housing. The laser beam source unit comprises laser beam sources and collimator optical systems respectively positioned in optical paths of laser beams, which are radiated from the laser beam sources, in order to collimate the laser beams. Optical path adjusting elements are respectively positioned in the optical paths of the laser beams in order to radiate the laser beams along optical paths parallel and close to one another. The laser beam sources, the collimator optical systems, and the optical path adjusting elements are supported on a single support. The housing is provided with a temperature sensor, which detects the temperature in the housing, and temperature adjusting elements which heat or chill the housing on the basis of control of the temperature sensor so that the temperature in the housing is kept constant.

摘要: Light quantity and temperature settings are applied by a control circuit to a semiconductor laser controller and a temperature controller, respectively. A temperature actuator is controlled by the temperature controller responsive to an output signal from a temperature sensor for equalizing the temperature of a semiconductor laser to the temperature setting. The semiconductor laser is controlled by the semiconductor laser controller responsive to an output signal from a light quantity sensor so that a laser beam will be emitted from the semiconductor laser at the light quantity setting. Mode hoping noise is detected by a mode hopping noise detector or the control circuit in combination with a memory which stores mode hopping noise ranges. In response to a mode hopping noise signal, the control circuit changes at least one of the light quantity and temperature settings.
