    Abstract: A relay device first receives a data packet from a network device through a first link, and sends the data packet to user equipment through a second link. A protocol stack of the relay device consists of a physical layer, a media access control layer, and a segmentation function or a resegmentation function of a radio link control layer; a protocol stack of the relay device consists of a physical layer, a media access control layer, a segmentation function or a resegmentation function of a radio link control layer, and an adaptation layer; or a protocol stack of the relay device consists of a physical layer and a hybrid automatic repeat request function of a media access control layer. The first link is a wireless communication link between the network device and the relay device, and the second link is a wireless direct communication link between the relay device and the user equipment.

One example method includes sending first scheduling information by a network device to a first terminal and a second terminal, where the first scheduling information includes indication information of a sidelink transmission parameter and indication information of a first uplink transmission parameter, the sidelink transmission parameter is used by the first terminal to send first data to the second terminal, and the first uplink transmission parameter is used by the second terminal to send the first data to the network device. The first data is received by the network device from the second terminal.

    Abstract: A method for packet transmission in a network includes receiving, by a first node, a second segment identifier sent by the third node, receiving, by the first node, a packet sent by the second node through the first path, determining, by the first node, that a next-hop node of the first node on the first path is faulty, and in response to the determining, by the first node, that a next-hop node of the first node on the first path is faulty, adding, by the first node, the second segment identifier to the packet, and sending the packet to the third node through a second path, where the second path is established by the first node based on the second segment identifier.

    Abstract: An uplink signal control method and apparatus, which are used to resolve a problem that when a UE is not within primary carrier signal coverage of a micro cell, the micro cell cannot control uplink transmission of the UE on a primary carrier. The method includes: determining, by a first network device, uplink control configuration information for user equipment (UE), where the uplink control configuration information includes information about a control channel occupied by control information, which is transmitted by a second network device on a second carrier, for controlling an uplink transmission action of the UE on a first carrier; and notifying, by the first network device, the uplink control configuration information to the second network device, and sending the uplink control configuration information to the UE or instructing the second network device to send the uplink control configuration information to the UE.
