    摘要: A method and device providing a HA junction varactor which may be fabricated with a reduced variation in C-V tuning curve from one varactor to the next. The process produces a varactor with an active region formed substantially by doping an Si substrate with various dopants at various energy levels. Accordingly, unit-to-unit device variation is reduced because etching, growing, and deposition processes to make the active portion of the varactor are reduced or eliminated. The resulting HA junction has a more uniform thickness, and a more uniform doping profile.

    摘要: A surgical procedure for breast augmentation is disclosed in which an incision is made at a point on the body remote from the breast which is not ordinarily visible, such as in a pre-nexisting scar, under an armpit or inside the navel or umbilicus. An endotube which has an obturator with a bullet shaped tip is introduced into this incision and pushed from the incision, staying just above the fascia of the interior abdominal and chest wall, and below the subcutaneous tissue and fat, to a position behind the breast. The obturator is removed and an endoscope used to verify the proper location of the tunnel. The endotube is removed leaving a temporary tunnel leading to a space behind the breast. A hollow prosthesis is rolled up tightly, positioned inside the end of the endotube and pushed into the tunnel behind the breast. The prosthesis is held in place by the hand of the surgeon on the breast and the endotube removed. The prosthesis is pumped full of saline solution to about a 50% overfill. The filling of the prosthesis with saline solution, together with the manipulation and pressure by the surgeon causes the tissues behind the breast to be dissected to form a pocket filled by the implant. After a short time, excess liquid is allowed to flow out of the prosthesis and the fill tube removed. The procedure is then repeated for the other breast. The incision is sutured and the patient may then go home from the recovery room. Special electrosurgical and electrocauterizing instruments are provided.

    摘要: When the user presses a touch-activated switch a first time, a first digital storage device becomes set and furnishes a platter-motor-start signal to the control electronics of the platter drive motor. If the touch-activated switch is pressed a second time, the first digital storage device becomes reset, and the signal commanding that the platter drive motor operate terminates. A second digital storage device likewise assumes its set and reset states in response to the first and second pressing of the touch-activated switch. Sensors ascertain various operating conditions during the course of turntable operation, such as the swinging of the tone arm to the position corresponding to the lead-in groove of a phonograph record. The states of the digital storage devices are additionally dependent upon the conditions sensed by the sensors. Logic circuitry interprets the combinations of states of the digital storage devices and causes the requisite turntable operations to be performed, e.g., lifting and lowering of the tone arm, inward and outward swinging of the tone arm, initiation and termination of rotation of the platter, audio muting, and the like.

One embodiment includes a rotatable member that is rotatable from a fluid stream obstructing condition to an out-of-the-way condition to prevent fluid diversion into the dispersal valve.     摘要: Kit and methods for collecting material in a vehicle are provided. A kit includes a collapsible receptacle fabricated from a hard material, a driver side fastener sized and configured to attach to the back of a driver side car seat, a front passenger side fastener sized and configured to attach to the back of a front passenger side car seat, an adjustable strap, and a floor mat. In use, the collapsible receptacle is releasably coupled to the floor mat and the strap is connected to the driver side fastener and the front passenger side fastener and secures the collapsible receptacle in place. After use, the collapsible receptacle can be detached from the floor mat and the material from the receptacle can be removed. When not in use, the receptacle can be collapsed to assume a stowed position.
