摘要： A dispenser for a coreless roll product having a pair of depressions defined in the ends of the coreless roll. The dispenser includes: a frame; mounting device for permitting the frame to be mounted to a stationary surface such as a wall; and a coreless roll securing device for securing a coreless roll product for rotation within the frame. The coreless roll securing device includes a pair of cooperating plungers. Each plunger includes: (1) a base, the base being fixed to the frame; (2) a distal end, the distal end having a radius of curvature; and (3) a central shaft, the central shaft connecting the base and the distal end and providing sufficient length so the plunger has a length at least as great as its widest dimension so the plunger is adapted to penetrate a depression defined at an end of a coreless roll product, so radial displacement of the coreless roll with respect to said frame is prevented during use. Also a method for installing a coreless roll of a product.

The compressed webs bounce back to a portion of their uncompressed state when wetted. The present compressed webs allow more towels to be added to a dispenser without substantially sacrificing the absorbent capacity or the strength of the towels.

摘要： A method of treating a coreless rolls of absorbent paper product such as toilet tissue so as to make it easier for a user to center a winding axis of the coreless roll with respect to a dispenser. The method includes the steps of: (a) positioning a tool adjacent to at least one side of the coreless roll so that the tool is substantially centered with respect to the winding axis of the roll; and (b) pressing the tool into the side of the roll to form a visible depression in the side of the roll that is centered with respect to the winding axis of the roll, the tool being wetted prior to completion of the step of pressing the tool into the side of the roll. An embodiment of the invention encompasses the step of wetting the roll prior to pressing the tool into the side of the roll.

摘要： An adaptor for supporting rolls of toilet tissue of greater than conventional diameter from an existing toilet roll holder designed to support rolls of toilet tissue of conventional diameter. The adaptor includes telescoping mandrel or spindle for rotatably supporting a roll of toilet tissue of greater than conventional diameter. A side member is attached to each end of the spindle, each side member including a journal for insertion into the holes of the existing toilet roll holder. There is a spring biasing the side members away from each other. A slide pin mechanism including a thole is associated with a slot in each of the side members. The slide pin mechanisms are moveable to any position along their respective slots by a user such that the tholes abut against a portion of the existing toilet roll holder to limit the amount of downward pivotal movement of the side members and the spindle.

摘要： A ballistic resistant panel including a strike face portion and a backing portion. The strike face portion includes a plurality of interleaved layers of non-fibrous ultra high molecular weight polyethylene tape. The backing portion includes a plurality of interleaved layers of cross-plied fibers of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene. The entire stack of interleaved layers is compressed at high temperature and pressure to form a ballistic resistant panel having a strike face on one side. It has been found that ballistic resistance increases as the weight ratio of the strike face portion with respect to the backing portion decreases. A composite panel having a strike face Tensylon tape with at most 40% of the total weight of the panel exhibits improved ballistic resistance properties as compared to a monolithic structure of strictly interleaved layers of cross-plied high modulus fibers.

摘要： A ballistic-resistant molded article having a sandwich-type structure including two outer portions of a first high modulus material surrounding an inner portion of a second high modulus material. The outer portions are comprised of a plurality of interleaved layers of adhesive coated cross-plied non-fibrous ultra high molecular weight polyethylene tape. The inner portion is comprised of a plurality of interleaved layers of high modulus cross-plied fibers embedded in resin. The stack of interleaved layers is compressed at high temperature and pressure to form a hybrid sandwich ballistic-resistant molded article that includes a mix of high modulus materials. It has been found that ballistic resistance is higher for the hybrid structure than for a monolithic structure of comparable areal density.

A washroom monitoring station is provided in wireless communication with the data communications unit and in communication with the sensors through the data communications unit. The washroom monitoring station is configured for indicating the presence of water when detected by the overflow or water sensors.
