The metal films 32 are insulated from each other by the electrically insulating polymer films 31 and are spaced from each other by a distance corresponding to the thickness of the polymer films 31. Consequently, the material activating effect of the radioactive rays emitted by the radioactive layer 33 of the radioactive means is enhanced.

摘要： An in-vehicle device includes: a communication element; a coupling element for coupling and decoupling between the in-vehicle device and a cell phone via the communication element; a hard disk drive for storing a telephone directory data; an incoming call notification element for notifying a passenger about an incoming call, accessing the telephone directory data, and notifying individual information of a caller; a high altitude decision element for deciding whether the vehicle is disposed in a high altitude area; and a switching element for setting the hard disk drive in an off-mode when the vehicle enters into the high altitude area, and for setting the hard disk drive in an on-mode when the vehicle passes through the high altitude area. The incoming call notification element stops notifying the incoming call and the individual information when the hard disk drive is in the off-mode.

摘要： An in-vehicle device includes: a hard disk drive for storing data; a communication element for transmitting a message to an user; an input element for receiving an instruction from the user; a communication control element for obtaining altitude information; and an activation control element for controlling activation of the hard disk drive. The communication control element obtains the altitude information before the hard disk drive is activated when the in-vehicle device is activated for the first time since standby power supply stopped while the in-vehicle device was not activated. The communication control element transmits the message when the current position is equal to or higher than a predetermined altitude. The activation control element starts to read the data from the hard disk drive when the input element receives the instruction that the user permits the activation of the hard disk drive.

摘要： A voice control system is directed to a car navigation device that includes: a display unit; a microphone; a speech recognition unit for recognizing, as a command, a speech uttered by a user; and a navigation ECU to which the voice recognition unit outputs the command. When the user inputs the speech, auxiliary switches are shown on the display unit. When the user selects one of the auxiliary switches, respective functions that correspond to the auxiliary switches are executed. The functions include displaying a voice command list or guidance for voice input on the displaying unit or outputting, to the navigation ECU, a result of determination whether a certain function, such as setting of a destination, should be allowed to be executed, the user first being required to affirm or negate the recognized destination setting by voice or auxiliary switch.
