摘要: The present invention provides a network in which the installation of working lines may be enabled based on the required traffic and the high speed switching of the transmission lines may be realized, as well as a transmission equipment used for that network and a method of control thereof. The transmission equipment comprises an APS byte transmitter/receiver for exchanging information on failures with adjacent transmission equipment through a protection line, a monitor for monitoring anomalies on a plurality of the working lines, a Network Table for storing data indicating network structure, a processing unit for determining working lines to be switched based on the data stored in the Network Table and for processing APS bytes. APS bytes are allocated with the working line number, its priority, and the source node number of switching signal. In addition a Network Table is provided to each node for storing connecting state of the network and information on failures, thereby the destination node may be identified. When a failure occurs, the best optimal line switching will be performed by exchanging information on failures by means of the APS bytes.

摘要: A request accepting server accepts a processing request of data of a predetermined type, analyzes the request, and allocates a process corresponding to the request to either one of the request accepting server and at least one database processing server. A handle is a control block to manage a storage area of data as a processing target and has a server in which the processing target data has been stored and information regarding its storing position. When the processing target data corresponding to the processing request is processed in accordance with the processing request, the request accepting server executes a process according to the processing request by using a handle regarding the processing target data. When an entity of the processing target data is necessary, the entity of the processing target data is obtained on the basis of the handle and is processed.

摘要: In a synchronous multiplex network including a plurality of multiplex transmission apparatuses, an overhead is passed through intervening multiplex transmission apparatuses such that administration and maintenance operation information is transmitted and received through the overhead between arbitrary multiplex transmission apparatuses. The multiplex transmission apparatus receives a multiplexed signal comprising a payload having a plurality of main signals multiplexed therein and overhead bytes including a plurality of administration and maintenance operation information, performs termination processing for the administration and maintenance operation information and transmission processing for the payload, thereafter converts the multiplexed signal into a different multiplexed signal comprising a payload which has been processed for transmission and a plurality of administration and maintenance operation information, and transmits the different multiplexed signal.

摘要: Write column selection MOSFETs of memory cells MC are coupled with, for example, the earth potential of the circuit. Write column selection signals supplied to these MOSFETs are formed selectively according to the column selection address signal and the write data. Thereby the write column selection MOSFETs of the memory cells MC function as a substantial write means. That is, the write column selection signal lines are used as the data lines at the same time.

摘要: An optical wavelength multiplexing add/drop apparatus branches a received optical wavelength multiplex signal into a plurality of parts. Desired information to be received is selected from a plurality of signals multiplexed in a branch signal. Information to be transmitted is converted into an optical signal of an unused wavelength and the optical signal is transmitted after wavelength-multiplexing thereof with a plurality of signals multipelxed in another branch signal. Thereby, simultaneous transmission to a plurality of optical communication devices becomes possible. Also, an optical wavelength multiplexing cross-connection device is constructed with use of optical couplers having a small circuit scale, thereby realizing a small-sized cross-connection device.

摘要: In reference, update, and insertion processing, the lock of an un-transferred object is released, and then the lock of a transferred object is set when the pointer is traced for transfer between objects to thereby improve the parallel execution capability of the reference, update, and insertion. At that time, the IS-mode (in the case of reference processing) or the IX-mode (in the case of update and insertion processing) is set at the starting of the processing, and the lock is released at the time of completion of the processing. Furthermore, in deletion processing, after the pointer to a deletion target is separated or replaced and all the processing that acquires the lock of an object group has been completed, the region of the deletion target object is released.

摘要: In a transaction parallel control method of a DBMS, if a priority of a transaction process accepted from an application is higher than a transaction process of an application being executed or suspended, a conflict is judged between database resources used by the both processes and a transaction process to be suspended or terminated is determined based on types and values of the database resources acquired by the respective processes. After the determined transaction process is suspended or terminated, the transaction process of the application is executed by acquiring a value corresponding to the type of the database resource included in the database resource acquisition schedule information accepted from the application and, after the completion, the suspended transaction is restarted.
