    摘要: The invention provides an organic-inorganic composite material having a sufficient transparency and a low coefficient of linear expansion, an optical element using the same and a production process thereof. The organic-inorganic composite material has at least one polymer compound and at least one inorganic oxide having a three-dimensional network structure, wherein the polymer compound has a three-dimensional network structure and is covalently bonded to the inorganic oxide, and the haze value of the organic-inorganic composite material in terms of a thickness of 5 mm is 10% or less.
