    摘要: Noise detection is performed by using the output of the phase comparator that the PLL comprises. The phase comparator outputs a signal that is based on the phase difference between the output of the voltage controlled oscillator and the reference signal. The phase difference reflects the effect of noise on the PLL and, in addition to the characteristics of the noise itself, such as the wave height value of the noise and the frequency component thereof, reflects the tolerance of the PLL to noise, whereby the level of risk that the system can actually be caused to malfunction can be judged.

    摘要: A multiple cylinder engine controls an air/fuel ratio accurately by improved detection of the fluctuations in a vacuum due to a change in the openings of throttle valves. The multiple cylinder engine includes a plurality of intake passages that independently feed intake air to cylinders; fuel injectors; throttle valves; a pressure sensor; and a fuel controller that controls fuel injection of each cylinder using the detected pressure. The multiple cylinder engine may further include a vacuum inlet passage having an inlet port opened into intake passages that introduces the pressure of the intake passages into the pressure sensor. The vacuum inlet passage preferably includes a throttle portion having a passage area of no more than one ninth that of the inlet port.

    摘要: A traction link of a bogie frame is connected to a connection member which extends down from a car body. In an interior portion of the connection member, a large number of particle-shaped members are accommodated. The rotation vibrations which are generated from a system drive of a running electric motor, a reduction gear unit and a shaft coupling are transmitted to the connection member and the car body through the traction link. The vibration energy generated in the connection member is converted to kinetic energy in the particle-shaped members by collisions between the particle-shaped members inside the connection member and, so that the vibrations in the connection member can be reduced. Accordingly, the propagation of the vibrations to the car body can be restrained. In a railway vehicle bogie car, the vibrations which are generated by an unbalance of the drive system can be restrained, and the noise inside the car produced by the vibrations can be reduced.

    摘要: A nonmagnetic monocomponent negatively chargeable color developer which has excellent light transmittancy for overhead projection transparencies, excellent transfer characteristics, charging characteristics, and durability is provided. The nonmagnetic monocomponent negatively chargeable color developer contains color toner particles that contain a chromatic color colorant, binder resin, and charge control agent, and an exterior additive added to the exterior of said toner particles. The binder resin is a linear polyester resin having a softening point of about 100.degree. to about 120.degree. C., the sum of the acid value and the hydroxyl value is about 20 to about 40 KOH mg/g, and the weight-average molecular weight/number-average molecular weight ratio is less than about 10. The charge controller is a boron compound having the general structural formula (A) below: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.8 is a substituted or nonsubstituted aryl groups; R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 is a member selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl group, substituted or nonsubstituted aryl group; X represents a cation, and n is an integer of either 1 or 2. The exterior additive is a hydrophobic silica and hydrophobic titanium dioxide in a hydrophobic silica. The hydrophobic titanium dioxide weight ratio is about 1:1 to about 1:3 by weight. The total specific surface area S of said exterior additive microparticles is about 100 to about 300 (m.sup.2 /g.multidot.wt %), and is determined by equation (1):S=(Ss.multidot.Vs)+(St.multidot.Vt) (1)wherein Ss is the specific surface area (m.sup.2 /g) of the hydrophobic silica; Vs is the additive amount (weight percent) of hydrophobic silica relative to the toner particle; St is the specific surface area (m.sup.2 /g) of the titanium dioxide; and Vt is the additive amount (weight percent) of titanium dioxide relative to the toner particle. The total amount of added exterior additive microparticles is about 0.8 to about 2.5 percent-by-weight relative to the toner particles.
