    Abstract: A new cell specific procedure and/or a mobility procedure may be defined to more efficiently support a network slice function in new radio access technology (NR), which is a part of a 5G communication system. In terms of a radio access network (RAN)—RAN interface, the cell specific procedure comprises that a first RAN node transmits a first indicator related with the slice support of the first RAN node to a second RAN node, and receives from the second RAN node a second indicator related with the slice support of the first RAN node. The mobility procedure comprises that a target RAN node transmits a path change request message including slice-related information to a core network (CN) node, and receives from the CN node a path change response message including at least one of a common control plane function (C-CPF) identifier (ID), a finally selected slice-related ID or U-Plane information.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for provision of random access channel (RACH) related information for connection failure detection in a new radio access technology (NR) is provided. For example, a first gNB receives, from a wireless device, random access channel (RACH) related information and cell information for a radio link failure (RLF), and transmits, to a second gNB, the RACH related information and the cell information for the RLF. For another example, a gNB central unit (gNB-CU) of a first gNB receives, from a second gNB, RACH related information and cell information for RLF, and transmits, to a gNB distributed unit (gNB-DU) of the first gNB, information for an RACH configuration based on the RACH related information and the cell information for the RLF.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for dual connectivity support for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication is provided. When a master node (MN) belonging to a first radio access technology takes role of signaling to a wireless device in multi-RAT dual connectivity (MR-DC) option 3/7, the MN receives authorization information on a second RAT for the wireless device from a core network node, and transmits a request for a radio resource of the second RAT to a secondary node (SN) belonging to the second RAT. The request includes the authorization information on the second RAT for the wireless device. Upon receiving information on the radio resource from the SN, the MN transmits a message to the wireless device based on the information on the radio resource.
