摘要： The present invention is a composition for forming seals. The composition includes a base material and a hydrogel. The base material is preferably an elastomer or a thermoplastic. Seals formed with the composition are particularly suited for use in a wellbore environment. The inclusion of hydrogel in the seals allows the seals to be manipulated or altered through certain environmental factors. For instance, temperature, oil/water ratio, pH and the electronic field may all be used to alter the characteristics of the hydrogel. In this way, the seal may be caused to swell in response to a specific stimulus, thereby preventing or sealing a leak without requiring additional work or input from the operator.

摘要： A computer readable memory to direct a computer to improve the perceived audio quality of a speaker included in that computer. The computer readable memory stores a first, second and third set of instructions. The first set of instructions causes the computer to determine the speaker type. The second set of instructions causes the computer to select a set of default filter coefficients for a digital filter based upon the speaker type. Finally, the third set of instructions causes the computer to realize a digital parametric equalizer using a digital filter and the set of default filter coefficients. Thus, the digital filter alters the audio signal that is input to the speaker, thereby improving the perceived quality of the speaker.

摘要： A catalyst system for the (co)polymerization of propylene contains (A) a solid catalyst component comprising titanium, magnesium, halogen and a 1,3-diether; (B) an organic aluminum compound; and optionally (C) an organic silicon compound. In comparison with the prior art, stereospecificity of the polymer prepared by using the catalyst system of this invention evenl containing no external electron-donor is greater than 99%. Also, the activity of the catalyst system and hydrogen gas adjustability on the molecular weight of the polymer do not significantly decrease.

The method includes an initial step of constructing one or more recombinant DNA molecules which each encode papillomavirus L1 protein or a combination of papillomavirus L1 protein and papillomavirus L2 protein followed by a further step of transfecting a suitable host cell with one or more of the recombinant DNA molecules so that virus like particles (VLPs) are produced within the cell after expression of the L1 or combination of L1 and L2 proteins. The VLPs are also claimed per se as well as vaccines incorporating the VLPs.

摘要： Siphonic, gravity-powered toilets are provided that include a toilet bowl assembly having a toilet bowl. The toilet bowl has a rim channel provided along an upper periphery thereof and a direct-fed jet channel that allows fluid, such as water, to flow from the inlet of the toilet bowl assembly to the direct-fed jet outlet port into the interior of the toilet bowl, in the sump of the bowl. The rim channel includes at least one rim channel outlet port. In the toilets herein, the cross-sectional areas of the toilet bowl assembly inlet, the inlet port to the rim channel, and the outlet port to the direct-fed jet channel are configured so as to be optimized to provide greatly improved hydraulic function at low flush volumes (no greater than about 6.0 liters per flush). The hydraulic function is improved in terms of bulk removal of waste and cleansing of the bowl.

A bolt with a central through hole is fixed in a cavity of the finger guider. A pressing disk is arranged at the upper part of the fixing seat, and a nut is connected to the bolt through a hole in the pressing disk.

摘要： A surgical milling cutter includes a milling cutter bracket, a locking device and a bottom electric motor connected successively. The milling cutter bracket includes a fixing seat with a through hole. A finger guide apparatus with an L-type first bracket at the top end thereof is provided on the upper part of the fixing seat. The end of the L-type first bracket's short side is provided with a downward projection. The lowest point of the projection is lower than that of the milling cutter's cylindrical head when the milling cutter is working normally. The surgical milling cutter utilizes the projection to prevent the possibility of an object contacting with the cylindrical head, thus avoiding an object being cut unevenly. Meanwhile, the L-type bracket can be driven by the finger guide apparatus to rotate so as to change the running direction of the milling cutter, thus facilitating surgical procedures.
