    摘要: A lug plate 11 is secured to a drive shaft 7 which is rotatably supported in a housing so as to rotate together with the drive shaft, and a swash plate 12 is operatively connected to the lug plate through a hinge mechanism so as to rotate together with the lug plate and so as to vary an angle with respect to the drive shaft 7. Pistons 17 which are received in cylinder bores la so as to reciprocally move are operatively connected to the swash plate 12, so that not only can a refrigerant be introduced and discharged in accordance with the rotation of the drive shaft 7, but also the stroke of the pistons 17 can be varied by varying the angle of the swash plate 12. A front radial bearing 9B is provided on the outer periphery of a boss portion 11A of the lug plate 11 and a coil spring 16 to bias the swash plate 12 is received in a spring receiving portion 11C formed in the lug plate 11 on the rear side thereof.

    摘要: A control valve for a variable displacement compressor in refrigerant circuit permits the compressor displacement to be accurately controlled regardless of the thermal load on an evaporator. The refrigerant circuit includes a high pressure pipe, which extends between a discharge chamber of the compressor and a condenser. A first pressure monitoring point is located in the discharge chamber. A second pressure monitoring point is located in the high pressure pipe. A supply passage connects the second pressure monitoring point with a crank chamber of the compressor. The control valve is located in the supply passage and adjusts the opening size of the supply passage in accordance with the difference between the pressure at the first pressure monitoring point and the pressure at the second pressure monitoring point. The control valve includes a solenoid for determining the target value of the pressure difference. The control valve operates to maintain the determined target value.

    摘要: A control valve is used for a variable displacement compressor. The compressor has a crank chamber and a bleed passage. The control valve includes a valve housing. A valve chamber is defined in the valve housing. A valve body is accommodated in the valve chamber for adjusting the opening size of the bleed passage. A pressure sensing chamber is defined in the valve housing. A pressure sensing member separates the pressure sensing chamber into a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber. The pressure at a first pressure monitoring point is applied to the first pressure chamber. The pressure at a second pressure monitoring point located is applied to the second pressure chamber. The pressure sensing member moves the valve body in accordance with the pressure difference between the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber such that the displacement of the compressor is varied to counter changes of the pressure difference. The pressure sensing member is a bellows or a diaphragm.

The refrigerant circuit includes a condenser, an expansion valve, an evaporator and a variable displacement compressor. The expansion valve is normal-charge type. A control valve adjusts the pressure in a crank chamber based on the value of a current from a controller and on a pressure difference between two pressure monitoring points, which are located in the refrigerant circuit. Accordingly, the compressor displacement and the flow rate of refrigerant in the circuit are controlled.

    摘要: A variable displacement type compressor in which a discharge-pressure region, a suction-pressure region and a pressure control chamber are defined, has a tiltable swash plate and a piston reciprocated by the swash plate in the pressure control chamber. The inclination angle of the swash plate and the piston stroke are changed by adjustment of pressure in the pressure control chamber thereby to control the displacement of the compressor. The compressor further comprises a supply passage for supplying refrigerant gas from the discharge-pressure region to the pressure control chamber, a release passage for releasing the refrigerant gas from the pressure control chamber to the suction-pressure region, a first control valve for adjusting a cross-sectional area of the supply passage from the discharge-pressure region to the pressure control chamber and a second control valve for adjusting cross-sectional area of the release passage. The second control valve includes a valve body for opening and closing the release passage whose cross-sectional area is set minimum when the valve body is located at the closed position and a valve spring for urging the valve body in a direction to open the release passage. When the second control valve is closed, pressure in the supply passage downstream the first control valve acts on the valve body in a direction to close the release passage and pressure in the suction-pressure region acts on the valve body in a direction to open the release passage.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a method for installing pistons in cylinder bores formed in a cylinder block of a compressor. The piston on one end of the cylinder block and a positioning jig on the other end of the cylinder block are arranged. The positioning jig is inserted into the cylinder bore such that part of the positioning jig protrudes from the cylinder bores toward the piston. The protruding part of the positioning jig is engaged with the piston to determine the position of the piston. The piston is inserted into the cylinder bore while maintaining the engagement between the jig and the piston. The positioning jig is removed from the cylinder bore. This facilitate automation of installation of pistons in cylinder bores.

    摘要: A variable displacement type compressor has a supply passage for supplying refrigerant gas to a pressure control chamber, a release passage for releasing the refrigerant gas from the pressure control chamber, a first control valve for controlling the amount of the refrigerant gas flowing through the supply passage, a check valve provided between the first control valve and the pressure control chamber and preventing the refrigerant gas from flowing from the pressure control chamber to the first control valve by closing the supply passage and a second control valve for adjusting a cross-sectional area of the release passage from minimum to maximum. The second control valve has a back pressure chamber communicating with the supply passage, a valve chamber forming a part of the release passage and communicating with a suction-pressure region, a valve hole forming a part of the release passage and communicating with the valve chamber and a spool having a valve portion located in the valve chamber. When a pressure in the back pressure chamber increases, the valve portion decreases the degree of opening of the valve hole.
