摘要: Provided is a mobile electronic device capable of reflecting a user's intention. While an initial screen (100) for waiting for an incoming-call is being displayed on an LCD display unit (21), a control unit (45) performs control so that a first type character display area (101) and a second type character display area (102) are displayed on the LCD display unit (21) in place of the initial screen (100), wherein the first type character display area (101) is an area for, when any of first keys is depressed, displaying a first type character (for example, a number such as “1”, “2”, “3”) assigned to the depressed first key and the second type character display area (102) is an area for displaying a second type character (for example, “a”, “i”, “u”, etc. in Japanese Hiragana letter) assigned to the depressed first key.

摘要: According to the present invention, a semiconductor device having a field effect transistor is provided. The field effect transistor comprises a gate insulating film 2 formed on a semiconductor layer 1 and a gate electrode 5 formed on the gate insulating film 2. The gate insulating film 2 has a silicon oxide film including a metal element 4 and nitrogen 3, and characteristics of the silicon oxide film are modified by adding the metal element 4 and nitrogen 3. Respective concentration distributions of the metal element 4 and nitrogen 3 in the gate insulating film 2 have maximum values on an interface side between the gate insulating film 2 and the gate electrode 5, and gradually decrease toward the semiconductor layer 1.

摘要: The heater has increased quick responsiveness to temperature control of air, and the air conditioner can realize highly accurate temperature control using the heater. A duct unit having heat sources comprising electric lamps in the inside thereof is attached to an air duct. Air coming into contact with glass bulbs of the electric lamps is heated by radiant heat and transferred heat generated by lighting the electric lamps, whereby the heater with increased quick responsiveness to temperature control is obtained. A first heater and a second heater are provided in the air duct, respectively, and temperature sensors for controlling these heaters are attached to the air duct and a precision environment chamber, respectively, whereby temperature control in two stages with different temperature resolutions is made possible, and an air conditioner with high accuracy excellent in controllability can be provided.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to improve transmission efficiency of a communication system for forming a transmission frame from a plurality of packets to perform communications using the transmission frame and reduce transmission power required to maintain an error rate. Headers of the plurality of packets are coupled to each other with redundancy information deleted therefrom so as to form a header part of the transmission frame. Further, payloads of the plurality of packets are coupled to each other so as to form a payload part of the transmission frame. A forward error correction code used for the header part and a forward error correction code used for the payload part are respectively attached to the transmission frame in isolation.

摘要: A music training apparatus performs a two-part reproduction including first and second parts, in which the first part is like a trial part which allows a video signal to be reproduced on a display unit but prohibits a sound signal to be generated from a speaker. The second part is like a formal part which allows an ordinary reproduction of both the video and sound signals. In the first part, a first pitch detector detects a pitch of a model singing signal memorized in a recording medium. Meanwhile, a second pitch detector detects a pitch of user's singing signal inputted from a microphone. If the pitches detected by the first and second pitch detectors are different from each other, an interval adjusting device changes the key so as to be in perfect pitch with each other before terminating the first part. Thereafter, in the second part, the reproduction of sound through the speaker formally starts from the head of the music under an ideal condition where the interval is automatically and exactly adjusted to fit to the user's singing sound.

摘要: A shock absorber is connected between a vehicle body and a vehicle wheel. The shock absorber provides a variable damping force. A control apparatus for the shock absorber includes an actuator for adjusting the damping force provided by the shock absorber. A vibration detecting device serves to detect a relative vibration between a spring upper member and a spring lower member. A damping-factor estimating device serves to estimate a damping factor of the shock absorber. A speed estimating device serves to estimate an absolute speed of the spring upper member on the basis of the relative vibration detected by the vibration detecting device and the damping force estimated by the damping-force estimating device. A signal setting device serves to set a drive signal of the actuator on the basis of the absolute spring upper member speed estimated by the speed estimating device.

摘要: An impedance matched electrical connector comprising a plug connector member and a matable jack connector member for an electric connection between printed wiring boards. The plug connector member comprises a plug housing of insulating material in which planar and elongated male conductors, a first row of male signal terminals, and a second row of male signal terminals are arranged in respective, parallel planes. A conductive ground shell is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the plug housing, so that the first and second rows of male signal terminals are arranged between the elongated male conductors and a planar portion of the ground shell, respectively, to thereby form a strip line structure by which the impedance of the connector is matched to the impedance of the printed wiring boards and the amount of crosstalk is relatively low.

摘要: In an electrical connector, a contact comprises a first contact portion, a second contact portion having its axis parallel with the axis of the first contact portion and a connecting portion connecting the first and second contact portions. The angles of the connecting portion relative the axes of the first and second contact portions are capable of being changed. A plurality of these contacts are inserted into holes or channels of an insulator member of the connector.
