The apparatus includes at least one source adapted to generate at least one modulated Doppler invariant signal and at least one receiver deployed along a seismic sensing cable, wherein the receiver is adapted to receive at least one modulated Doppler invariant signal from the at least one source. The apparatus further includes a signal processing unit adapted to determine the propagation time delay between the source and the receiver using the modulated Doppler invariant signal and the received Doppler invariant signal.

摘要： An apparatus for making and dispensing frozen aerated products includes a rotating horizontal freeze plate with an upper surface for receiving a chilled aerated mix. The chilled aerated mix includes, in one embodiment, ice cream base that has been sufficiently aerated, and flavor. The apparatus further includes a scraper for scraping frozen aerated mix off of the rotating freeze plate. The scraper includes a body that forms an elongated semi-cylindrical channel. The apparatus also includes a plow for pushing the scraped, frozen and aerated mix through the channel towards a cup held by a cup lifter disposed at an end of the channel. The action of the plow pushes the scraped frozen aerated mix through the channel and into the cup resulting in a generally round scoop of scraped frozen aerated mix in the cup that resembles a serving scoop experienced at a traditional ice cream shop.

摘要： A linear bolt mechanism for a gun is provided, wherein a bolt moves between a firing position and an open position through linear motion, without requiring rotation of the bolt. The bolt includes a seating socket which engages a locking pin to permit travel of the bolt upon disposing the locking pin in a traveling position. The seating socket also engages the locking pin when the locking pin engages the locking socket, thereby precluding movement of the bolt with the locking pin in the locking position.

摘要： A method removes and/or contains edge residue. A wafer comprised of a semiconductor material having a top surface, a bottom surface and an edge surface is provided. The bottom surface and the top surface are substantially planar and the edge surface is non-planar. Residue can be located on the edge surface, which can dislodge if not addressed and damage devices formed on the wafer. One or more devices can be at least partially formed on the top surface. A pre-metal dielectric liner is formed over the top surface of the wafer and covering at least a portion of the residue. An edge portion of the liner is etched or otherwise removed to expose the portion of the residue. Thereafter, a pre-metal dielectric layer is formed over the top surface of the wafer and the pre-metal dielectric liner. During formation of the pre-metal dielectric layer, the edge residue is removed and/or contained.

Some methods and apparatus reduce ghosting and align first pressure peaks of multiple seismic sources. The multiple seismic sources may be fired sequentially according to active feedback mechanisms. Controlling the firing of the seismic source facilitates more accurate seismic data and a more consistent seismic source signature.

摘要： A system for forming a structure having load-bearing capabilities is provided. This system includes a material capable of conforming to a desired shape and an activator that includes a pre-measured amount of fluid. Both the material and the activator are contained within an activator-impervious sealed pouch. The pouch is clamped or sealed so as to isolate the conformable material from the activator by creating two separated areas within the pouch. In use, a device clamping the pouch is removed or an internal frangible seal of the pouch is broken so as to allow the activator to be mixed with the conformable material. Following this, the pouch is opened, and the activated material is removed. The activated material then may be applied to a surface where it hardens and forms a structure having load-bearing capabilities.
