摘要： There is provided a structure wherein an emitter layer 3 is provided in the region A on the first major surface side of a semiconductor substrate 1, and emitter layer 3 is not provided in the region b. There is provided a structure wherein a collector P layer 5 is provided in the region A on the second major surface side of a semiconductor substrate 1, and a cathode N layer 4 is provided in the region B. Specifically, there is provided a structure wherein IGBTs are composed in the region A, and diodes are composed in the region B. By the above-described structure, ON characteristics when the gate is turned on can be improved while suppressing the elevation of the forward voltage Vf and the recovery current of the diodes.

摘要： In a signal processing apparatus a synchronizer acquires synchronization with the spreading code of an intermediate frequency signal converted from a signal received from a satellite in a global positioning system. A demodulator then demodulates a message contained in the intermediate frequency signal. A measuring unit outputs a primary signal to a predetermined signal line, the primary signal expressing positioning results for the apparatus as measured on the basis of the demodulated message. A secondary signal output unit attaches a predetermined header to a secondary signal and outputs the result to the predetermined signal line, the secondary signal containing at least the intermediate frequency signal, or a signal generated from the intermediate frequency signal.

摘要： A p-type collector region of an IGBT and an n-type cathode region of a free wheel diode are alternately formed in a second main surface of a semiconductor substrate. A back electrode is formed on the second main surface so as to be in contact with both of the p-type collector region and the n-type cathode region, and has a titanium layer, a nickel layer and a gold layer that are successively stacked from the side of the second main surface. A semiconductor device capable of obtaining a satisfactory ON voltage in any of conduction of an insulated gate field effect transistor and conduction of the free wheel diode as well as a manufacturing method thereof can thus be obtained.

摘要： An audio/video reproducing system, an audio/video device therein, and an audio/video reproducing method therewith are provided that allow appreciation of a great deal of audio or video using a recording medium with a small capacity.A server writes only a part of audio data read from an audio database in a recording medium. An audio reproducing device reads the audio data from the recording medium, while establishing communication connection with the server via the Internet to request lacking audio data. When an ID code and password sent from the audio reproducing device matches up with a pre-registered ID code and password, the server permits login and transmits the lacking audio data to the audio reproducing device. The audio reproducing device synthesizes the audio data read from the recording medium and the audio data sent from the server to produce complete audio data so as to reproduce audio.

The frequency synthesizer makes the local oscillation frequency variable by setting the dividing ratio variable in accordance with an arbitrary oscillation frequency so that the intermediate frequency remains within a predetermined range regardless of the oscillation frequency, and an NCO makes the frequency of the signal variable by setting the dividing ration variable in accordance with the oscillation frequency.
