摘要： This technology provides methods and systems for catalyst feasibility analysis and the optimal determination of automotive catalyst specifications utilizing, but not limited to, light-off performance, air-to-fuel ratio tolerance, and steady state emissions performance catalyst criteria. This technology additionally provides a catalyst feasibility index algorithm that includes various catalyst criteria inputs and provides for weighting factors to independently value each catalyst input. The technology further provides for the optimal determination of automotive catalyst specifications in order to reduce vehicle toxic exhaust emissions such as hydrocarbons (HC) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx).

摘要： A motor vehicle turn signal and a method for detecting an error in the turn signal are provided. The turn signal comprises a plurality of LEDs arranged in parallel banks and receiving current from a power source. A detector coupled to each of the parallel banks provides an error message if the current in one of the banks falls outside a predetermined limit. A current sink is coupled to the power source and is configured to be activated in response to the error message. When activated, the current sink causes a change in state of the power source. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, detection of the change in state of the power source causes the generation of an error indicator to alert the driver to a turn signal malfunction.

摘要： In one embodiment, a method of operating a communications system is disclosed comprising receiving a request for establishment of a session from a terminal, establishing the session with the terminal, and providing at least one navigation video segment to the terminal, via the session. The communications system may be a source of programming, such as a cable system, and the terminal may be a set-top terminal coupled to a display device. The navigation video segment may be used by the terminal to create selection menus to be displayed for user navigation. The video segments may be rich media video segments. A playlist may be generated comprising an indexed listing of a plurality of available video segments. The playlist may facilitate retrieval of video segments requested by a terminal. Communications systems, terminals and methods of operating a terminal are disclosed, as well.

摘要： A dynamic CAM cell has features that reduce the effect of noise within a CAM array. By shielding the matchline from the wordline, noise transmitted from the matchline to the wordline is reduced. By placing the searchline equally distant from a bitline and the bitline complement, the noise transmitted by the searchline is received equivalently by both the bitline and the bitline complement and therefore cancelled out.

摘要： A method is provided for suppressing interference in a motor vehicle radio that is capable of executing a seek/scan function. Interference may occur from signals generated by a source of time varying signal that operates in the motor vehicle at a predetermined operating frequency. The method comprises the steps of sending a message indicating initiation of a seek/scan function. In response to this message, the operating frequency of the source of time varying signal is cycled between the predetermined operating frequency and an adjusted operating frequency.

摘要： An apparatus for sharing redundancy circuits between memory arrays within a semiconductor memory device includes at least two main memory arrays comprised of a plurality of memory cells aligned in rows and/or columns and a shared redundancy circuit. The redundancy circuits preferably include a plurality of redundancy rows and a redundancy decoder which is configured for accessing the redundancy rows whenever a read or write operation involves use of a defective row within the main memory arrays for which a redundant row has been substituted. Preferably, each main memory array has access to the shared redundancy circuit. The shared redundancy circuit is used for substituting defective rows within a corresponding main memory array. The shared redundancy circuit provides extra redundant capacity to both of the main memory arrays.
