    摘要: An indicator system is provided that comprises an indicator positioned on a linear structure. The linear structure includes a portable linear structure having a proximal end and a distal end. The linear structure includes, for example, at least one of a hose, a fire hose, a cable, an electrical cable, a rope, a strap, and a tether device. The indicator includes directional markers positioned along the linear structure and oriented to identify a path to the proximal end. Each of the directional markers comprises a shape of an arrow, and a tip of the arrow points along the path to the proximal end. Additionally, the indicator can include a text string, for example, a text string comprising a word meaning “EXIT” or other similar term or phrase.

A device that shares an upstream channel with other devices determines whether, based on particular data, an upstream channel data transfer rate can be improved over a current data transfer rate of a current upstream channel from the device to a remote system. If the upstream channel data rate can be improved, the device improves the upstream channel data transfer rate based, at least in part, on the particular data used to determine whether the data transfer rate can be improved.

    摘要: The invention is an outdoor electrical cord connection protector. A pair of mated covers is at least partially hinged along a common access. Each mated cover provides a snap together wire entrance at one end and a wire exit at the other end of the snap together covers. Each wire entrance and wire exit opens to a snap together plug opening adapted to hold at least two mated plugs of an outdoor string of decorative lights. A seal can be affixed to each of the entrances of the protector. The seals help keep the protector water tight and well as protect against other environmental hazards such as dirt, bugs, etc.

Also included is a switch range adjuster for adjusting the at least one switch lever's range of motion between the first position and the second position.

    摘要: A configurable touch sensitive keyboard system is used to adjust or control the interface to a computer or other electronic device, particularly, for disabled individuals. The configurable touch sensitive keyboard system includes a touch sensitive keyboard having touch sensitive regions and a keyboard overlay having symbols corresponding to the touch sensitive regions. The symbols can be visually recognizable symbols or tactually recognizable symbols, such as Braille characters. A keyguard template is disposed on the keyboard over the overlay and includes keyboard access regions spatially separated on the keyguard. The keyboard access regions on the keyguard help disabled individuals to locate the touch sensitive regions for activation. Keyboard access cover members are used to selectively cover the keyboard access regions and the symbols and corresponding touch sensitive regions. By selectively covering the keyboard access regions using the cover members, the keyboard can be adjusted to suit the needs of a particular individual to improve the learning process and overall interaction with the computer or other electronic device.

The connector operates such that when the tube is pressurized, the components of the tube testing connector exert an increased gripping force on the outer diameter of the tube to be tested so as to secure it in place during the test procedure.
