Abstract: An augmented reality device may include: a light source; a display device comprising a plurality of pixels and configured to generate a first image based on light incident from the light source; and an optical combiner comprising a plurality of optical combining units each including a first area and a second area, wherein the first area reflects a plurality of beams constituting the first image at different reflection angles according to wavelengths and incident angles and transfers the reflected plurality of beams to a predetermined viewer position, and the second area transmits a beam of a second image received from outside and transfers the beam of the second image to the predetermined viewer position.

Abstract: Provided is a multi-image display apparatus including a light source configured to emit a first wavelength light, a second wavelength light, and a third wavelength light, a spatial light modulator configured to modulate the first wavelength light, the second wavelength light, and the third wavelength light to form a first image including a first color holographic image, a second color holographic image, and a third color holographic image, a polarization selective lens configured to focus the first image having only a first polarization component and transmit a second image having only a second polarization component without refraction, the second image being provided to the polarization selective lens along a different path from the first image, wherein chromatic aberration of the polarization selective lens is offset by adjusting a depth of the first color holographic image, the second color holographic image, and the third color holographic image.

Abstract: A holographic display apparatus capable of steering a location of a viewing window according to a location of an observer is disclosed. The holographic display apparatus includes a light source; a spatial light modulator configured to modulate incident light and thereby reproduce the holographic image; a spatial filter configured to transmit only the holographic image; an eye tracker configured to track a pupil location of an observer; and a controller configured to adjust locations of the light source and the spatial filter in response to a change in the pupil location of the observer received from the eye tracker. The controller is configured to move the light source and the spatial filter simultaneously in the same direction by the same distance.
