摘要: The present invention provides a method of adhering adherends, including (i) providing at least two adherends at least one of which is made of a flexible material, and (ii) joining the adherends together to form a structure using a heat-resistant adhesive composition containing mainly 1) a polycarbodiimide resin and an epoxy resin, or 2) a polycarbodiimide resin, an epoxy resin and a curing agent for the polycarbodiimide resin, or 3) a polycarbodiimide resin, an epoxy resin and a curing agent for the epoxy resin. The heat-resistant adhesive composition can be applied under mild conditions, and the resultant structure has excellent heat resistance and chemical resistance, and has superior adhesion strength particularly at high temperatures.

摘要: A near infrared absorbent polycarbonate resin composition comprising a polycarbonate resin and a diimmonium type near infrared absorber. In this resin composition, not only the diimmonium type near infrared absorber shows a near infrared absorptivity but also its thermal stability is improved; therefore, the resin composition can be used in such applications as the heat resistance of near infrared absorbent material is required, and can withstand long-term use as compared with conventional near infrared absorbent materials containing a diimmonium type near infrared absorber.

摘要: The present invention provides a pulp-like composite material free from the problems possessed by wood pulp and may be used as a possible substitute for asbestos, and a process for production thereof. The pulp-like composite material of the present invention comprises (a) an inorganic material other than asbestos and (b) a polycarbodiimide, wherein the inorganic material (a) is substantially covered by the polycarbodiimide (b), or, the inorganic material (a) is substantially covered by the polycarbodiimide (b) and the coated inorganic material is connected to each other. The process for producing a pulp-like composite material according to the present invention comprises dispersing an inorganic material other than asbestos in at least either of a polycarbodiimide solution and a precipitant and then mixing the resulting polycarbodiimide solution with the resulting precipitant while applying, as necessary, a shear force or a beating force.
