    Abstract: A three- or four-wheeled motor vehicle such as a buggy includes a rear fork composed of first and second rear fork members having front ends pivotally mounted on a frame and rear ends supporting rear wheels, respectively, an axle housing having first and second axial ends, the first axial end being joined to the rear end of the first rear fork member, a rear axle rotatably supported in the axle housing, a gear case coupled between the rear end of the second rear fork member and the second axial end of the axle housing and accommodating a gear mechanism for driving the rear axle, and at least one cross member extending between and joined to the first and second rear fork members. The rear end of the first rear fork member has a first joining surface having at least one attachment hole defined therein and directed transversely of the frame. The first end of the axle housing has a second joining surface having at least one attachment hole defined therein and facing the first joining surface. At least one of the attachment holes in the first and second joining surfaces is elongate. The first rear fork member and the axle housing are joined by fasteners through the attachment holes.
