Abstract:
A pressure sensor for detecting a pulse wave, a digital conversion unit for converting a pressure signal from the pressure sensor into a digital signal, and a fourth derivative filter having an adjustable frequency characteristic for obtaining a fourth derivative wave of an original waveform based on the digital signal generated by the conversion by the digital conversion unit are provided. Local extrema of the fourth derivative wave in a section of the pulse wave corresponding to one beat are calculated. Based on the calculated local extrema, an early systolic component and a late systolic component are calculated.

Abstract:
A pressing cuff presses a pressure sensor above an artery. The level of the pressure applied to the pressure sensor is changed while the pulse wave is measured based on information about the pressure from the pressure sensor. In order to adjust the level of the applied pressure using the pressure of gas in the pressing cuff, a three-port valve and a two-port valve are controlled so that the connection is changed to establish a state of holding the amount of the gas in the pressing cuff. Then, the state is changed to a state of isolating and discharging gas in which a part of the held gas is isolated from the remaining amount of the gas to be discharged. Then, the state is changed to the state of holding the remaining amount of gas in the pressing cuff.
Abstract:
To provide a cuff for a blood pressure monitor having a curled elastic member which is easily attached to an arm, does not make the subject feel pain when attached, and exhibits a characteristic of excellent fitting. A curled elastic member 1A has one end portion 12 extending outward so as to enwind the other end portion 11 inward. Specifically, from the other end portion 11 to a position where the other end portion 11 is mutually opposite, the radius of curvature gently increases. From the mutually opposite portion to the one end portion 12, the radius of curvature largely increases.
Abstract:
A process for producing a benzoylacrylic acid derivative (formula 1) in high yield through a small number of steps and a simple purification step. The process comprises reacting 2,4,5-trifluoro-3-methyl-6-nitrobenzoyl chloride with a compound (formula 2) to yield an aminoacrylic acid derivative (formula 1) and then reacting the aminoacrylic acid derivative (formula 1) with an amine derivative represented by R2—NH2, wherein R2 is a cycloalkyl group or the like.
Abstract:
A blood pressure monitor includes a cuff to be worn on a living body portion provided with an air component for inflating and deflating said cuff, and a main body detachably mounted on the cuff provided with an electrical component, in which the main body is electrically connected with the cuff by wire or wireless.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a new method for obtaining a purity of about 93% to 100% of the trans form of 2- or 4-substituted cyclohexanecarboxylic acid or reactive derivatives thereof from the cis form or a mixture of the cis and trans forms by a single step, particularly, to a method for obtaining a purity of substantially 100% of the trans form of 4-substituted cyclohexanecarboxylic acid.
Abstract:
The invention provides useful intermediates as acylating agents for preparing 7-acylaminocephalosporin compounds which show excellent antimicrobial activities. More particularly, the present invention relates to a process for preparing 5-amino-1,2,4-thiadiazole acetic acid derivatives.
