摘要: A tobacco smoke filter includes a corrugated tape-like wrapping which, together with an outer perforated or otherwise air-permeable paper, defines a set of longitudinal grooves. Each of the grooves includes a blocking member, so as to inhibit direct smoke flow through the grooves and promote a ventilation effect. The blocking members in each groove are longitudinally staggered from one groove to the next to simplify the production of the device.

摘要: This invention is directed to correcting a smear by a line-sequential reading scanner. To accomplish this, in a line-sequential reading type image reading apparatus (scanner), the first memory stores reference smear amount data of a smear occurred for each color component. The correction amount for the brightness value of each color component obtained by reading an original by an image sensor is calculated based on the reference smear amount data stored in the first memory and the brightness value level of a pixel on a preceding line. The brightness value is corrected based on the correction amount.

Starting material which is the 12-membered ring macrolide compound 11107B represented by the formula (I) is incubated in the presence of a strain belonging to the genus Mortierella, the genus Streptomyces or the family Micromonosporaceae (for example, Streptomyces sp. AB-1704 strain (FERM BP-8551)), each of which has the ability of transforming the 12-membered ring macrolide compound 11107B into a 11107D substance represented by the formula (II), or a preparation of its cultured myceha and oxygen, and then 11107D substance which is a target material is collected from the treating solution.
