摘要: An electrode feeding apparatus for electric-discharge machining by discharging between an electrode and a workpiece in order to machine the workpiece includes an occurrence frequency detecting unit for detecting the occurrence frequency of short-circuit current flowing when the electrode contacts the workpiece and a penetration detecting unit for detecting penetration by the electrode to the workpiece based on the occurrence frequency. According to the present invention, it is possible to detect with high precision penetration by the electrode into the workpiece by utilizing the difference between an occurrence frequency of short-circuit current during electrode discharge machine and the occurrence frequency of the short-circuit current when the electrode has penetrated the workpiece.

摘要: An injection apparatus and method is disclosed that enables the internal space to be cleanable by preventing the solidification of binder through washing and cleaning inside a heating cylinder when molding material formation is completed. An inlet pipe is provided between an inlet of an upper wall at the rear portion of a heating cylinder having a nozzle member at the tip internally equipped with an injection screw and a hopper is installed above the inlet. Pipelines for cleaning water and for compressed air are connected to the inlet pipe. Cleaning inside the heating cylinder is made possible by operating transfer valves provided at these pipelines.

摘要: A transmission including composite planetary gears supported by a carrier such that the planetary gears are arranged around an axis of the carrier, each planetary gear consisting of a large and a small pinion which mesh with a first and a second gear, respectively, and which have a ratio Zp.sub.1 /Zp.sub.2 equal to an integer not smaller than 2, wherein Zp.sub.1 and Zp.sub.2 represent numbers of teeth of the large and small pinions, respectively. The transmission is assembled by assembling the common second gear and the carrier supporting the planetary gears, such that the small pinion of each composite planetary gear meshes with the common second gear, and assembling the common first gear and the carrier such that the large pinion of each planetary gear supported by the carrier meshes with the common first gear.
