    摘要: An organic light emitting display is disclosed. In one embodiment, the display includes pixels formed in every horizontal line, scan lines coupled to the pixels positioned in two horizontal lines, i data lines coupled to pixels positioned in odd horizontal lines, (i+1) data lines coupled to pixels positioned in even horizontal lines, and first and second emission control lines coupled to the pixels positioned in the two horizontal lines to supply first and second emission control signals, respectively. Each of the pixels includes a pixel circuit coupled to one of the data lines and one of the scan lines, a first organic light emitting diode (OLED) and a second OLED coupled to the pixel circuit to emit light to correspond to current supplied from the pixel circuit, and a selection unit for supplying current from the pixel circuit to the first or second OLED.

    摘要: Provided are a method of manufacturing a thin film transistor (TFT) substrate and a method of manufacturing an organic light emitting display apparatus, which increase the capacitance of a capacitor without increasing the probability of short circuits between wires. The method of manufacturing a TFT substrate includes (a) forming a capacitor electrode and a gate electrode on a substrate having a first region and a second region, so that the capacitor electrode is formed to correspond to the first region and the gate electrode is formed in a portion of the second region; (b) forming an interlayer insulating layer to cover the gate electrode and the capacitor electrode; and (c) etching a portion of the interlayer insulating layer in the first region by using a halftone mask to a thickness that is less than a thickness of a portion of the interlayer insulating layer in the second region.

    摘要: A dual emission organic light emitting display device and method of driving the same. The display device includes a pixel driver and an organic light emitting diode that can display different images on a top surface and a bottom surface and/or a same image on both the top and bottom surfaces. The display device includes a top/bottom selector that receives a driving current from the pixel driver and selectively supplies the driving current to a top organic light emitting diode or a bottom organic light emitting diode. The top/bottom selector includes transistors, which are connected between the pixel driver and the organic light emitting diode and select a top emission operation or a bottom emission operation. Here, the circuit configuration of the pixel driver is reduced so that the dual emission organic light emitting display device can be improved in terms of a layout, an interconnection, and an aperture ratio.

    摘要: A light-emitting display device includes a pixel circuit that transmits a data signal using switches responding to control signals. The pixel circuit of the light-emitting display device includes first and second switching transistors serially coupled to a data line. A capacitor is charged with charges in response to a data signal from the data line through the first and second switching transistors. A driving transistor outputs a current corresponding to the charges in the capacitor. A light-emitting diode emits light corresponding to the current. One of the first and second switching transistors is turned on in response to a select signal from a first scan line and the other one is turned on in response to a control signal for controlling an operation of a second pixel circuit.
