    摘要: A copying apparatus includes a copy paper cutting device which is operated when an original document or an optical device for exposure reaches a predetermined position. The original document or the optical device is stopped when a trailing edge of a copy paper is detected. After at least the leading edge of the copy paper passes through the copy paper cutting device, the copy paper is fed out entirely from an apparatus frame without operating the copy paper cutting device. This results in that the last copy paper sheet of the roll of copy paper is not shorter than the distance between transport rollers in the copy paper passageway to prevent a copy paper jam.

    摘要: A simultaneous two-sided iron-deep drawing process for producing vessels such as metal cans. After being used, the cans can easily be squashed. A difference in height between the inner die and the outer die or the profile radii of the two dies are varied so as to change the longitudinal wall strength of the vessel. The work material is held between the two dies so that both sides are simultaneously ironed and thereby a tubular structure is obtained.

    摘要: In a chemical vapor deposition system, a pair of turntables are vertically disposed opposite to each other, and a plurality of wafers to be processed are arranged circumferentially on opposing surfaces of the turntables. Heater units are arranged behind the turntables, each of the heater units comprising a plurality of concentric grooves defined in a surface of a base behind the corresponding one of the turntables, a heating element received in each of the grooves, a cover plate placed over the grooves so as to seal the interior of the grooves from the exterior of the grooves, and a conduit connected to a vacuum pump for maintaining a higher level of vacuum in the grooves than outside cover plate. Thus, the interior of the grooves is effectively sealed, and intrusion of contaminants into the heater unit can be avoided.

    摘要: There is provided a method of three-dimensionally cutting a mold including the steps, in sequence, of (a) rotating a single ball end mill at a rate in the range of 50,000 rpm to 200,000 rpm, the ball end mill being made of material having high thermal resistance, (b) driving the ball end mill in horizontal, reciprocating movement at a rate in the range of 10 m/min to 100 m/min, and driving the ball end mill in transverse movement at a predetermined depth of cut in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the ball end mill is reciprocated, at opposite ends of the reciprocating movement to cut a workpiece in a surface thereof at a common depth of cut, and (c) vertically feeding the ball end mill at a predetermined depth of cut. This method makes it possible to significantly increase a rotation speed and a feeding speed of a cutting tool to thereby remarkably reduce time necessary for cutting a mold.
