A photothermographic material comprising a defined amount of a compound represented by the following general formula as a reducing agent is disclosed. In the following general formula, R1 and R1′ each independently represent an alkyl group, at least one of which is a secondary or tertiary alkyl group; R2 and R2′ each independently represent hydrogen atom or a group that can be a substituent on benzene ring; L represents —S— group or a —CH(R3)— group where R3 represents hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and X and X′ each independently represent hydrogen atom or a group that can be a substituent on benzene ring. The photothermographic material is characterized by providing sufficient image density by heat development, and showing good silver color tone and little change with time after the development.

A multilayer silver halide color light-sensitive material including a yellow color-forming silver halide emulsion layer, a magenta color-forming silver halide emulsion layer, and a cyan color-forming silver halide emulsion layer, on a support. The light-sensitive material contains, in the yellow color-forming silver halide emulsion layer, at least one acylacetamide-type yellow coupler having an acyl group of a specified structure, and at least one organic compound selected from the group consisting of specified epoxy compounds, specified amide compounds, and esters having a melting point of 25.degree. C. or more at normal pressure and a molecular weight of 1000 or less.

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material capable of providing a dye image having excellent color reproduction performance, sharpness and image fastness is disclosed. The light-sensitive material includes a reflective support having provided thereon (a) at least three light-sensitive hydrophilic colloid layers on one side of the reflective support, with at least one light-sensitive layer containing a yellow color-developing coupler and silver halide grains, at least one light,sensitive layer containing a magenta color-developing coupler and silver halide grains, and at least one light-sensitive layer containing a cyan color-developing coupler and silver halide emulsion grains, with each light-sensitive layer having a different color sensitivity from the other light-sensitive layers, and (b) a light-insensitive hydrophilic colloid layer; wherein on at least the side of the support on which the light-sensitive layers are coated, the surface of the support is coated with a composition prepared by mixing and dispersing a white pigment in a resin comprising mainly polyester synthesized by the polycondensation of a dicarboxylic acid and a diol, and a yellow coupler-containing layer contains at least one of the dye-forming couplers represented by formula (I), (II) or (III) as described in the specification.

A novel silver halide color photographic material comprising a support provided thereon at least one layer containing at least one compound represented by the following general formula (A): ##STR1## In the formula, L.sub.1 represents an alkylene or arylene group; R.sub.1 represents a substituent which can be substituted for a hydrogen of the benzene ring; m represents an integer 2 to 7; and n is 0 or an integer of 1 to 4, with the proviso that when either or both of m and n are at least two, the plurality of L.sub.1 groups and/or R.sub.1 groups may be the same or different, and with the proviso that the compound of formula (A) does not form a polymer via an R.sub.1 group. In a preferred embodiment, at least one compound represented by formula (A) is incorporated into a photographic silver halide emulsion layer.
