    摘要: An edge-lit backlight device is disclosed in the present disclosure. The edge-lit backlight device comprises a light guide plate, light sources and a backplate. The light guide plate comprises two wedged plate portions and a rectangular plate portion, the two wedged plate portions are disposed at two sides of the rectangular plate portion respectively, and the wedged plate portions and the rectangular plate portion each comprise a light incident surface and a bottom surface. The light sources are disposed adjacent to the light incident surfaces of the wedged plate portions and the rectangular plate portion respectively. A liquid crystal display (LCD) is also disclosed in the present disclosure. The edge-lit backlight device and the LCD of the present disclosure are simple in structure, allow for regional control functions and can dissipate heat generated by the light sources in a timely and efficient way.

    摘要: The present invention provides a backlight module and a light-emitting source package structure thereof. The light-emitting source package structure comprises: a heat-dissipation base, at least one chip and a heat-dissipation fixing element. The heat-dissipation base has a connection hole. The heat-dissipation fixing element further has a connection post and a heat-dissipation fin with an abutting surface, and the connection post of the heat-dissipation fixing element passes through a through hole of a fixed plate to fix in the connection hole, so that for closely aligning the abutting surface of the heat-dissipation fin and can abut against the fixed plate. Thus, and the heat-dissipation base and the heat-dissipation fixing element are stably fixed on the both sides of the fixed plate to ensure the tightly abutting relationship with the fixed plate and enhance the assembly reliability. Meanwhile, the heat-dissipation fin can additionally increase the heat-dissipation efficiency of the heat-dissipation fixing element. Thus, the temperature of the chip can be surely lowered to prevent from lowing the working efficiency of the chip. Hence, it is advantageous for the chip to stably work, and the lifetime thereof can be increased.

    摘要: A plastic housing for a liquid crystal display, a manufacturing method thereof and the liquid crystal display are provided, and the plastic housing is an integral plastic housing, including a lower supporting surface and two side frames oppositely disposed on the lower supporting surface. Each of the two side frames is formed with a shoulder on an inner sidewall thereof. The shoulder has a first planar surface parallel to the lower supporting surface. The shoulder further has a second planar surface perpendicular to the lower supporting surface. The height of the second planar surface is equal to or greater than the thickness of a plurality of optical films. The advantage of the present invention is to employ the integral plastic housing to install the optical films and the panel. The integral plastic housing includes two side frames with the shoulders, so that the optical films and the panel can be commonly assembled together with the integral plastic housing. When needing to replace the backlight source, the optical films and the panel can be commonly disassembled together with the integral plastic housing. Therefore, the optical films can be conveniently and speedily disassembled and assembled and it can avoid being polluted during disassembly and assembly. Moreover, the optical films can be more easily fixed because of the embedded engagement effect of the integral plastic housing.

    摘要: The invention relates to the field of LCDs, and more particularly to a backlight module and an LCD device comprising the backlight module. The backlight module includes a middle frame, a light guide panel, and a light source; the backlight module further includes a shielding structure which is used for preventing the light of the light source from being directly emitted from the gap between the middle frame and the light guide panel; the shielding structure includes a groove arranged in the middle frame, and a convex lug arranged on the light guide panel; the convex lug is arranged in the groove. Because of the existence of the shielding structure, the light cannot be directly emitted onto the optical film from the gap between the middle frame and the light guide panel; thus, the problem of light leakage is solved; therefore, the bright line and facula cannot be generated on the LCD panel, thereby improving the quality of the LCD device.
