    摘要: Polyurethane-based adhesives of the invention comprise the reaction product of: an isocyanate-reactive component comprising at least two isocyanate-reactive materials, the at least two isocyanate-reactive materials comprising a first isocyanate-reactive material having a weight average molecular weight of less than 2,000 and a second isocyanate-reactive material having a weight average molecular weight of 2,000 or more; an isocyanate-functional component; an optional reactive emulsifying compound; and an optional chain extending agent. The adhesives, which are preferably pressure-sensitive adhesives, can be prepared from 100% solids, waterborne or solventborne systems.

    摘要: Isomaleimides and polyisomaleimides can be prepared by a method comprising the steps in sequence: admixing a maleamic acid or polymaleamic acid with an acid halide, reacting the admixture with a tertiary amine at a temperature sufficiently low to suppress the formation of a maleimide, and isolating the resulting isomaleimide or polyisomaleimide. Polymerization of a polyisomaleimide with a polynucleophilic monomer (polythiol, polyol, polyamine) produces novel polymers.

    摘要: Epoxy reactive liquid modifiers include acrylate functionalized compounds, acrylamide functionalized compounds, oxalic amide functionalized compounds, actoacetoxy functionalized urethanes and acetoacetoxy functionalized polyalkenes. The reactive liquid modifiers are incorporated into epoxy resin compositions comprising a curable epoxy resin, an amine curing agent, and the reactive liquid modifier, wherein the reactive liquid modifier is polymerized to form at least one of an interpenetrating polymer network and a semi-interpenetrating polymer network with the curable epoxy resin.
