摘要: An aqueous urethane resin composition includes a urethane resin and an aqueous medium, wherein the urethane resin is a reaction product of a polyol comprising an anionic group-containing polyol and an aromatic polyisocyanate, and has an anionic group concentration of 0.35 mmol/g or less. A synthetic leather is also provided. The synthetic leather includes a laminate including at least a base fabric, a bonding layer, and a skin layer, wherein the bonding layer is made from the aqueous urethane resin composition. A task to be achieved is to provide an aqueous urethane resin composition exhibiting excellent peel strength, hydrolytic resistance, and light resistance.

摘要: The present invention relates to a dispersion comprising (A) a carrier fluid in an amount from 35 to 95 wt. %, the carrier fluid comprising: (A1) water, and (A2) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, ethyl acetate, n-propyl acetate, isopropyl acetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone and any mixture of at least two of these compounds, whereby the amount of water (A1) relative to the carrier fluid (A) is less than 85 wt. % and the amount of water relative to the dispersion is from 1 to 30 wt. %; and (B) polymer(s) in an amount from 5 to 65 wt. %, the polymer(s) comprising: (B1) polymeric particles having a volume average particle size from 1 μm to 20 μm, whereby the polymer of the polymeric particles (B1) has a weight average molecular weight of at least 100 kDaltons and whereby the polymer of the polymeric particles (B1) is selected from the group consisting of polyurethane, polyurethane-polyacrylate hybrid and any mixture thereof; and whereby the amounts of (A) and (B) are given relative to the total amount of (A) and (B).

摘要: The present invention provides a moisture-curing sealant comprising a) at least one silane-functional polymer and b) at least one catalyst for the crosslinking of the silane-functional polymer, said sealant being free of organotin compounds and having, in the cured state, a secant modulus at 100% elongation and 23° C., determined to ISO 8339, of less than 0.4 MPa and a resilience at 100% elongation, determined to ISO 7389, of greater than 70%. The sealant is especially suitable as a construction sealant of the 25LM class according to DIN EN ISO 11600, especially as a facade sealant, or as a sealant according to ASTM C719 Class 50.

摘要: A method for applying a multilayer coating comprising a basecoat and a clearcoat is disclosed. The basecoat is a curable aqueous composition comprising (1) polymeric particles prepared from ethylenically unsaturated compounds including a multi-ethylenically unsaturated monomer and a keto or aldo-functional monomer, and (2) a polyhydrazide. A hydrophobic polymer is present in the aqueous composition to improve its humidity resistance.

摘要: An aqueous dispersion containing at least one copolymer, the copolymer being preparable by initially charging an aqueous dispersion of at least one polyurethane, and then polymerizing a mixture of olefinically unsaturated monomers in the presence of the polyurethane, where a water-soluble initiator is used, the metered addition of the olefinically unsaturated monomers is effected in such a way that a concentration of 6.0% by weight, based on the total amount of olefinically unsaturated monomers, in the reaction solution is not exceeded over the entire duration of the reaction, and the mixture of the olefinically unsaturated monomers contains at least one polyolefinically unsaturated monomer.

摘要: A sheet material includes a fibrous substrate made of microfibers and a hydrophilic-group-containing resin applied to the fibrous substrate. The hydrophilic-group-containing resin has a microphase-separated structure that satisfies Condition I: In a phase image obtained by observing an area of 1 μm2 in a cross-section of the hydrophilic-group-containing resin applied to the fibrous substrate by phase imaging using an atomic force microscope (AFM), a standard deviation of a mode of brightness distribution of areas of 0.2 μm2 in the area of 1 μm2 is from 0 to 10. Provided are a sheet material that is produced through an eco-conscious production process and yet has such uniformity that is comparable to those of man-made leathers produced using organic-solvent-based polyurethanes, an elegant surface appearance, and a good touch, and a method for producing such a sheet material.
