摘要: Region dividing means (3) divides an inputted image by color or edge. Partial feature value providing means (4) extracts visual feature values of the divided region. Area sorting means (5, 6) sorts the feature values of the divided regions and part feature values (32) which are visual features of the parts into which an object is divided in order of area of the region. Part matching means (7) selects the part feature value (32) which the region of the largest area has, selects a visual feature value which the divided region of the largest area has out of the divided regions whose similarities are not calculated, calculates the similarity of the selected visual feature value, and extracts candidate regions. If the visual feature value of the joined region formed by combining the candidate regions is similar to the visual feature value of the whole object stored in storage means (2), the joined region is treated as a region similar to the object.

摘要: An internal combustion engine capable of improving cleaning efficiency by preventing an increase in the temperature of the exhaust gas to lessen the deterioration of the catalyst. The internal combustion engine includes a convergent section, a divergent section, and a branch section. The branch section branches a shock wave, propagating in a downstream direction at a higher velocity than exhaust gas flowing into an exhaust path from a combustion chamber when an exhaust valve is opened, from a portion of the exhaust path which is upstream with respect to the divergent section, and propagates the shock wave back to the exhaust path. The exhaust gas is caused to pass the convergent section and to collide against the shock wave between the branch section and the divergent section, so as to increase the pressure of the exhaust gas in the convergent section. Such exhaust gas is caused to pass the divergent section to generate a new shock wave and to decrease the temperature of the exhaust gas. A catalyst of an exhaust cleaning device is provided in a portion of the exhaust path which is downstream with respect to the divergent section.

摘要: A vehicle drive device configured with an input member drivably coupled to an internal combustion engine, an output member drivably coupled to wheels, and a friction engagement device that selectively drivably couples the input member and the output member to each other. A rotary electric machine is connected between the input member and the output member. A housing oil chamber houses at least friction members of the friction engagement device and is filled with oil. A housing space houses the rotary electric machine, a first oil passage through which oil is supplied to the housing oil chamber, a second oil passage through which oil is discharged from the housing oil chamber; and a third oil passage through which oil discharged from the second oil passage is supplied to the housing space.

摘要: An exhaust device for an outboard motor engine includes an exhaust passage, a catalyst an air inlet, and an air pump. The exhaust passage is connected to the engine arranged to support a crankshaft extending along an up-down direction. The catalyst is arranged in the exhaust passage. The air inlet is arranged at a position higher than the engine inside an engine cover covering the engine. The air pump is supported by the engine. Further, the air pump is arranged to supply air taken through the air inlet to an upstream side of the catalyst in the exhaust passage.

摘要: Object The invention provides a method for manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor, capable of joining a bolster member interposed between an anode lead and an anode lead frame to the anode lead frame with good adhesion property and high positional accuracy.Solution A bolster member is obtained from a ladder-shaped frame. A width of the bolster member in a direction perpendicular to a lead-out direction of an anode lead is larger than a width of an anode lead frame. The bolster member is aligned with the anode lead frame while being chucked, and then is joined to the anode lead frame.
