Abstract: Disclosed are a method and system for accessing a wireless channel. An access point transmits a radio frame including access parameters of at least one group of stations (STAs); and when receiving the radio frame, an STA belonging to the at least one group of STAs transmits data to be transmitted competitively within an uplink transmission period in the access parameters according to the access parameters of the group of STAs. With the disclosure, system overhead can be reduced while low power consumption of a station is ensured.

Abstract: A transmitting wireless device provides channel spatial reuse information to a receiving wireless device for the receiving wireless device to make a determination of how to contend the medium for spatial reuse transmission, when to transmit and what transmissions parameters to use for the transmission in the spatial reuse. A timer is designated to track the remaining time for inter-ESS and/or intra-ESS spatial reuse. The spatial reuse information may include fields indicative of color code identifying BSS, transmission power used, signal to noise ratio headroom available and so on. With the spatial reuse information, the wireless device can calculate the target transmit power for initiating spatial reuse transmission without interrupting the on-going transmission, perform EDCA in spatial reuse condition to assess the channel status for contending the medium over the on-going transmission(s), tracking the spatial reuse duration and initiate a new spatial reuse transmission over the on-going transmission without interruption.

Abstract: A method for processing a network allocation vector (NAV) includes: terminating the receiving of a first radio frame when it is determined that a target receiving station of the first radio frame being received is not a first station; and updating an NAV of the first station or maintaining the NAV of the first station unchanged according to a remaining duration of the first radio frame and a first transmission opportunity duration carried in the first radio frame, where the remaining duration of the first radio frame is the transmission time used for transmitting the remaining part of the first radio frame after the receiving of the first radio frame is terminated. The technical solution solves the problem in the related art of collisions with hidden stations caused by an inaccurate NAV update in the existing art, thereby ensuring the accuracy of an NAV update and the fairness of transmission and channel contention, and reducing collisions among hidden stations.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems for performing channel measurement in a multi-beam wireless communication are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication node is disclosed.
