摘要： An auxiliary dolly attachable to or integral with the rear of a primary trailer includes a first portion attachable to or integral with the primary trailer, a second portion comprising one or more axles with wheels, and a pivot point at which the first portion is coupled to and movable relative to the second portion, and further includes one or more cylinders configured to adjust the first and second portions relative to each other and apportion weight between the primary trailer and the auxiliary dolly. At least one or more booster axle groups and one or more trailer axle groups are configured to shift independently. This allows for efficient and cost-effective load balancing.

摘要： An apparatus for moving parked aircraft with a tractor via an aircraft lift dolly which includes a hinged gate to entrap the aircraft nose gear. The aircraft lift dolly may be removably detachably coupled to the tractor through two attachment points to an intermediate connecting towbar. The aircraft lift dolly includes a lift mechanism having a lift carriage which is selectively elevated. The lift carriage includes a fixed forward chock and a rear chock that it repositioned longitudinally with respect to the forward chock and is hingedly coupled. The chocks are positioned about the aircraft nose gear without movement of the aircraft. Elevating the lift cradle elevates the chocks and the nose gear cradled therebetween.

摘要： A motorized, two-wheeled retrofit assembly converts a portable, four-wheeled transport unit, such as a scaffold, to a self-propelled, power driven unit for directional movement from one location to another. The retrofit assembly is attached to the transport unit in a manner that immobilizes or replaces the front wheels of the transport unit. The retrofit assembly comprises a drive assembly and a steering assembly. The drive assembly includes a pair of freely rotating wheels that are spaced apart from each other and share a common axle. Each freely rotating wheel is disposed adjacent to and detachably engaged with a corresponding slip drive wheel that is fixed to the axle for driving the freely rotating wheels. The drive assembly further comprises a motor; a drive mechanism that operatively interconnects the motor with one of the slip drive wheels for turning the retrofit assembly axle; a power source for the motor; and a base communicating with the axle for carrying the assembly motor and power source. The steering assembly comprises a vertically adjustable steering column.

The rear end of the first trailer and the front end of the second trailer is lifted into an empty transport position so that the first and second trailers are supported solely on the tractor and the rearmost axle of the second trailer. The remaining axles are held raised from the ground by the lifting of the trailers and by an individual lifting hook supporting the axle raised relative to the frame. In the empty transport position, the first and second trailers are maintained as a single integral trailer in a directly aligned position. Each axle includes an air bag so that the hook is engaged when the axle is raised relative to the frame by releasing the air from the bag.

摘要： Cargo carry apparatus (20) for a tractor (500) for a semitrailer truck includes a rotatable deck (22) mounted between the fifth wheel (502) and the cab which pivots from a vertical position to a horizontal position until the deck rests upon the fifth wheel. With the deck in the horizontal position, the tractor may be utilized to transport cargo to sites which are inaccessible to the semitrailer truck.
