摘要: A fan penetration fixture consisting of a threaded shaft and a lock nut design. The fixture is designed to take the place of the fan clutch on a fan drive assembly in the vehicle being tested for a desired cooling system performance characteristic at each possible fan penetration. The threaded shaft portion of the fixture bolts to the fan hub. The desired fan is then bolted to the lock nut portion of the fixture. The lock nut can be positioned at any point along the threaded shaft to achieve a desired fan penetration.

摘要: A plastic hub with an automatically adjusted core includes a hub main body and hub blades formed on the outer portion of the hub main body. The arch-shape cylinders formed at the ends of the hub blades are placed against the positioning rack of the plastic hub so that an effect of adjusting the position shift can be generated by the arch-shape surfaces, and the shift caused by the axle revolving can be adjusted by the hub blades as well as the hub core can be automatically adjusted.

摘要: In a micro gas turbine engine, a capacitive sensor is used for measuring a tip clearance of a radial compressor section thereof, and an actuator is used for axially displacing a rotor shaft in response to an output from the capacitive sensor. Because the capacitive change gives an accurate measure of the size of the tip clearance, a particularly high sensitivity can be achieved in parts where the tip clearance is small, thereby providing a highly precise tip clearance control.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to suppress a mechanical loss caused by thermal elongation or rotational vibration of a rotary shaft of a turbo compressor for compressing a low pressure refrigerant used at a maximum pressure of less than 0.2 MPaG so as to enhance the efficiency of a turbo chilling apparatus. The turbo compressor is a turbo compressor for compressing a low pressure refrigerant used at a maximum pressure of less than 0.2 MPaG, the turbo compressor including: a rotary shaft; an electric motor coaxially disposed on an intermediate portion of the rotary shaft so a to rotationally drive the rotary shat impellers fixed to one end of the rotary shaft and forming a compression portion; a first bearing pivotally sporting the rotary shaft between the electric motor and the impellers; and a second bearing pivotally supporting the other end of the rotary shaft, wherein the first bearing is formed of a rolling bearing, and the second bearing is formed of a sliding bearing.

摘要: A fan assembly comprises a fan and a movable fan support. The fan has a motor and a fan blade drivable by the motor to move air in an airflow direction through an opening. The movable fan support is configured to movably support at least the fan. The fan support is mountable adjacent the opening on a first side and comprises extension members extendable from an operating position on the first side of the opening to an access position on a second side of the opening opposite the first side. In the access position, the extension members extend through the opening from the first side to the second side to support the motor and fan blade on the second of the opening for access.

For example, the gas turbine engine includes a static component, and a rotating component that shifts axially in one of an aft direction and a forward direction in relation to the static component during a first operating condition of the gas turbine engine, and shifts axially in the other of the aft direction and the forward direction in relation to the static component during a second operating condition of the gas turbine engine. The first operating condition is when a rotating component growth and a static component growth change at different rates. The second operating condition is when the rotating component growth and static component growth normalize.
