The first cutting apparatus includes a first upper die (12), a first lower die (40), and a plurality of pairs of aligned first punches (22). Each first punch includes a wedge-shaped first machining section (23). The second cutting apparatus includes a second upper die (102), a second lower die (140), and a plurality of second punches (122). Each second punch includes a stepped second machining section (123). The second machining section includes a plurality of progressively stepped machining portions (124). A topmost machining portion is the largest, and a bottommost machining portion is the smallest. Thus the second machining section can cut burring from the workpiece stepwisedly.

A modified fixed bracket with a larger fine-threaded hole is used to retain a hollow micro adjuster screw which is engaged by the fine threads of the bracket. The retaining screw that attaches to the die now does so by being inserted through the hollow body of the micro adjuster screw and out of a clearance hole at the distal end. Fine lateral adjustments of lateral alignment between the paper to be punched and the die can now be performed by moving the die laterally.

The method for removing punched fragments can be easily performed even a very narrow space is available in a counterbore of a die, and can ensure no punched fragment remained inside perforations, and therefore can improve yield of a product being fabricated. In use, a paper or a sheet is pushed into the fissure of the seat body and then the pressing section of the pressing lever is depressed, whereby a protuberance of the pressing lever is moved downward to force the mold block downward with the die punching the paper or the sheet placed in the fissure. Therefore, a product with a shape as that of the die is formed.

    摘要: Embodiments of an punch machine and a quick-change die assembly are shown and described. The die assembly may be quickly installed and removed from the punch machine, without bolting or unbolting of either machine housing or the die assembly itself. The die assembly is slid into the machine through a hole in the machine housing and into a position which mates part of the die assembly with the push-bar. A clamp, with a handle outside the machine, is then pivoted against the die assembly. The push-bar is adapted to be self-supporting without being bolted to the die assembly, keeping the push-bar in place without manual adjustment and alignment. The die assembly preferably includes a die, pin retainer, and punch pins, and preferably includes a flexible, pivotal, or hinged pin strap to secure the pins to the retainer. The preferred die assembly includes a positioning system that biases the pin retainer with its pin heads out from the die a proper distance for easy and unobstructed sliding into the machine housing and into a channel of the bar that drives the die assembly. The die assembly preferably includes a system for consistent referencing between various die assemblies, for reducing the instances in which the paper stop must be adjusted when a die assembly is changed.

Each spacer block is a stepped cylinder which includes a base (82) and a protrusion (84) extending upwardly from the base. Each spring abuts the base of the corresponding spacer blocker. A height of each base is slightly greater than a maximize clearance between the upper die and the unloading plate. The spacer blocks prevent spring fragments produced in the stamping process from entering the clearance.
