    Abstract: In a heavy duty pneumatic bias tire having a ply rating of not less than 58 and an aspect ratio of not more than 80%, a rubber volume as the product of the sum of each distance between ply cords in an inner mutually adjoining carcass ply per 50 mm, the sum of each distance between ply cords in an outer mutually adjoining carcass ply per 50 mm, and a distance between ply cords of mutually adjoining inner and outer carcass plies with respect to three or more inside carcass plies of an innermost ply group in at least a portion corresponding to a position of a maximum tire width is 500-1350 mm3, more preferably 700-1000 mm3.

    Abstract: An aircraft tire 10 has at least one circumferentially extending reinforcement insert. At least one reinforcement insert 90 is located on one side of the tire. Each insert 90 preferably has two cord reinforced members 91,92 having bias angled cords. The cords are equal but opposite in orientation relative to the cords of the adjacent member. The pairs of reinforced members 91,92 extend from the bead portion 18,20 and terminate in a radially upper portion of the sidewall 14A,16A. Each pair of reinforced members 91,92 is interposed between the carcass plies 36,37,38,39,40,41, and the sidewall of the tire 10. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the inserts 90 are located on only one side of the tire. Alternatively, the inserts can be symmetrically added to each side of the tire.

    Abstract: An aircraft tire 10 has at least one circumferentially extending reinforcement insert. At least one reinforcement insert 90 is located on one side of the tire.     Abstract: A pneumatic tire designed for use on paved road or dirt surfaces comprises a pair of annular tensile members, first and second carcass plies, a tread, and a pair of sidewalls extending between each annular tensile member and the tread.     Abstract: A heavy duty pneumatic tire having an improved durability is disclosed. This tire comprises a carcass of a bias structure composed of at least 12 rubberized laminated ply layers each containing organic fiber cords embedded therein, and divided into three inner, middle and outer ply groups by three bead cores, the cords of which are crossed with each other, as a reinforcement for a toroidal casing inclusive of a tread.
