摘要： To reduce the manufacturing costs of a vacuum brake booster, there is provided a holding member radially inserted into the control casing of the control piston, the holding member attaching the movable wall (booster piston) to the control casing and at the same time providing an axial stop for the control piston in the release direction of the booster. To reduce the axial length of the brake booster, the holding member is disposed within the air channel leading into the working chamber.

摘要： A brake booster for operation in connection with a brake pedal which includes a housing having an inner wall, a diaphragm, an outer rim portion thereof being secured to the inner wall of the housing, and power piston movably disposed in the housing and air-tightly connected to an inner end portion of the diaphragm to thereby divide an interior space of the housing into first and second compartments, the power piston including a central portion composed of resin and a metallic disc member surrounding and connected to the central portion, a control valve mechanism positioned within the power piston for generating a pressure difference between the first and second compartments in response to operation of the brake pedal, and a connecting mechanism for connecting the central portion and the metallic disc member wherein the connecting mechanism includes a flange portion formed on an outer peripheral portion of the central portion of the piston and positioned in front of a radially inner peripheral portion of the metallic disc member and a plate mechanism having a plurality of detent members operably associated therewith, interposed between the flange portion and the inner peripheral portion of the metallic disc member and secured to the inner peripheral portion of the metallic disc.

摘要： Pneumatic boosters basically comprise a casing and at least one movable wall disposed therein dividing the casing into two chambers. The differential of pressure between a low pressure in one of the two chambers and atmospheric pressure in the other of the two chambers provides the boosting effect. The diaphragm plate of the movable wall is normally made of relatively heavy sheet steel. According to the present invention a weight reduction and a saving of material is accomplished by providing openings in at least that portion of the diaphragm plate that extends substantially radially from the axis of the booster.

摘要： A light weight brake booster is disclosed having an internal axial tube for transmitting axial forces with a working or boosting piston surrounding the tube and a control piston slideably guide inside the tube. These two pistons are connected by reaction levers extending through longitudinal slots in the tube. The reaction levers are pivotably supported to transmit boosting forces to a master brake cylinder and their inner ends engage the control piston to deliver a reaction force to the brake pedal to give the driver the required "brake feel".

摘要： A membrane which serves as the movable valve member of a valve such as a distribution and apportionment valve of a fuel injection system for internal combustion engines, the membrane having at least one area intended for clamping purposes, at least one area of elasticity, and at least one control area, whereby the control area has a greater thickness than does the elastic area. The clamping area of the membrane may be provided with a photographic lacquer layer (negative lacquer) which serves as a sealing means and as protection against corrosion between the membrane and the valve housing. The invention further includes a method for fabricating the membrane onto which an adherent metallic layer is applied either by galvanic means or in a chemical bath.
