摘要: Systems and methods that may be implemented to employ a programmable integrated circuit within a smart battery pack to detect and/or log occurrence of chassis intrusion and/or tampering events in a battery-powered information handling system within which the smart battery pack is installed. A battery management unit (BMU) or other programmable integrated circuit of the installed smart battery pack may be utilized to detect occurrence of a tampering and/or intrusion event into the chassis of the host information handling system based on a current state of a system present (Sys_Pres) signal at the battery pack that indicates temporary or permanent disconnection of system motherboard circuitry from the smart battery pack of the battery-powered information handling system. Such a detected occurrence of a tampering and/or intrusion event may be reported to a remote human user of remote system and/or to a local human user of the local system.

摘要: Systems and methods for dynamic output control hierarchy for wireless fire systems and for fire protection before and during the installation thereof are provided. Systems can include a fire system control panel, a gateway device coupled to the control panel, and a mesh network coupled to the gateway device. Responsive to the gateway device detecting a loss of communication with the control panel or a failure of the control panel, the gateway device can control activation of output devices in the mesh network. Responsive to a first device in the mesh network detecting a failure of the gateway device, the first device can control activation of the output devices in the mesh network. In some embodiments, the first device can control activation of the output devices of a second device in the mesh network, and in some embodiments, the first device can self-control activation of its own output devices.

摘要: Examples are disclosed that relate to the securing of a distributed sensor system. One example provides a security component configured to be communicatively coupled between a trusted element and a distributed sensor system. The security component includes a configuration table configured to store sensor configurations for the distributed sensor system, and a security controller configured to secure the configuration table by limiting access to the configuration table according to a selected security protocol. The security component further includes a feedback controller configured to receive signals from the distributed sensor system and send feedback instructions to the trusted element based at least on a comparison of the signals received from the distributed sensor system with values in the configuration table.

摘要: A user-centric management application system and method for a security system that conceptualizes the security devices and the tasks to perform on the security devices as separate objects with common properties and behavior. Operators of the system create abstract containers, called dockviews, which the operator adds objects to in order to perform specific tasks. Because the operator assigns user access to dockviews and objects, the system tailors system access for both application users and tenants of the security system based on policy objectives. Dockviews have the ability to open in separate application windows to support priority display and isolation of critical management tasks. The system provides integrated user administration, event management and reports capability, a consistent “look and feel,” and system-wide automated event notification via a watchlist window.

摘要: Methods and devices for spectrum sensing using sliding window energy detection are provided. A sliding window energy detection test having a number of continuously-performed tests can be analyzed according to a desired cumulative false alarm rate to provide a corresponding, testing threshold. Based on the testing threshold and target signal to noise ratio, a testing window length is selected such that the sliding window energy detection is performed for a minimum expected discrete detection time. A sliding window energy detector can then obtain the selected testing window length and the corresponding, testing threshold for spectrum sensing. The sliding window energy detector includes a sampling unit, a detection probability analyzer, a testing statistic generator, a false alarm analyzer, a comparing unit, and a declaring unit.
