摘要: A patient monitoring hub can communicate bidirectionally with external devices such as a board-in-cable or a dongle. Medical data can be communicated from the patient monitoring hub to the external devices to cause the external devices to initiate actions. For example, an external device can perform calculations based on data received from the patient monitoring hub, or take other actions (for example, creating a new patient profile, resetting baseline values for algorithms, calibrating algorithms, etc.). The external device can also communicate display characteristics associated with its data to the monitoring hub. The monitoring hub can calculate a set of options for combined layouts corresponding to different external devices or parameters. A display option may be selected for arranging a display screen estate on the monitoring hub.

摘要: An audio riser active electrical supervision system includes a high-voltage audio alert system connected to a riser circuit. The high-voltage audio alert system disconnects a high-voltage analog signal from the riser circuit when the audio riser active electrical supervision system operates in a standby mode, and connects the high-voltage analog signal to the riser circuit when the audio riser active electrical supervision system operates in an active alert mode. A plurality of isolator modules operate in a closed state that connects a circuit node to the riser circuit and an open state that disconnects the respective circuit node from the riser circuit. A riser supervision circuit is connected to at least one isolator module to detect a circuit fault on the riser circuit when the audio riser active electrical supervision system operates in the standby mode and the active alert mode.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure provide non-addressable detection and alarm systems and methods for controlling a combined circuit by a control panel. In an example, a combined circuit may include paired wires, one or more initiating devices, and one or more notification appliances communicatively coupled with the paired wires in parallel. The control panel may monitor the one or more initiating devices in a standby mode while maintaining the one or more notification appliances in an off state. When the control panel detects an anomaly from one or more initiating devices, the control panel may switch the combined circuit to an alarm mode. In the alarm mode, the control panel may activate the one or more notification appliances and maintain the one or more initiating devices in an off state.

摘要: A fire detector is connected to a loop transmission path connected to a receiver. When the loop transmission path is normal, a communication connection is made from a transmitting unit to the fire detector to monitor fire. When a break fault occurs in the loop transmission path, a break monitoring control unit turns switching circuit units ON to connect a termination of the loop transmission path to the transmitting unit. To the loop transmission path, a relay detects a current normal direction at normal and a current reverse direction at the time of occurrence of a break for transmission to the receiver. When a break occurs in the loop transmission path, a break section determining unit of the receiver determines, as a break section, a section in which the current normal direction detected by a plurality of the relays is changed to the current reverse direction.

摘要: Systems and methods for activating monitoring of a security system by a central monitoring station are provided. In particular, such systems and methods can include validating a first communication path between a sensor of the security system and a control panel of the security system to allow the security system to be initially set up to operate without monitoring by the central monitoring station and separately validating a second communication path between the control panel and the central monitoring station in response to the control panel or a cloud server receiving an API call from the central monitoring station to enable such monitoring at a later time.

摘要: Devices, methods, and systems for detecting faults on a spur wired alarm circuit are described herein. One system includes a bipolar capacitor coupled to a last device on a spur wired alarm circuit, a voltage supply coupled to the spur wired alarm circuit, and a controller configured to operate the voltage supply such that a current flows through the spur wired alarm circuit, operate the voltage supply such that the current stops flowing through the spur wired alarm circuit for a particular amount of time, determine a voltage across the bipolar capacitor while the current has stopped flowing through the spur wired alarm circuit, and determine whether a fault has occurred on the spur wired alarm circuit based on the determined voltage.
