摘要: An apparatus for determining the position of the rotor of an electric machine in relation to the stator. The machine has multiple phases, each of which includes at least one pole winding with a magnetizable core. The apparatus includes devices for detecting measurement signals that are characterized by the momentary degrees of magnetization of the pole winding cores. The degrees of magnetization are influenced by the angular position of the magnetic field of the rotor. The devices are also used to detect the currents in the phases and determine the angular position of the rotor from the detected measurement signals, taking into account a contribution of the phase currents to the degrees of magnetization of the pole winding cores.

摘要: An inverter, motor drive device and freezing device, with which it is possible to effectively suppress current beats in the event of over-modulation without requiring additional circuits. This motor driving device includes: a rectifier circuit that converts the AC voltage from an AC power supply into a DC voltage; a smoothing capacitor that smoothes the DC voltage output from the rectifier circuit; an inverter circuit that converts the DC voltage output from the smoothing capacitor into an AC voltage; and a controller that reduces the current beat component by estimating, using a phase locked loop process, the frequency, phase and amplitude of the current beat component in the output current of the inverter circuit, and corrects the voltage command to the inverter circuit on the basis of the estimated frequency, phase and amplitude.

摘要: A controller for a sensorless permanent magnet synchronous motor having a rotor using a permanent magnet, the rotor rotating by a rotating magnetic field, caused by a current flowing through an armature is provided. The controller is configured to apply a pulse voltage for generating a magnetic field vector for searching for the initial position to each of search sections obtained by dividing a target range, narrow down a target range in such a manner that a search section in which a largest amount of current flows through the armature by application of the pulse voltage is selected as a subsequent target range, and repeat the application processing and the narrow-down processing to estimate the initial position.

摘要: A rotation angle estimation apparatus includes: a high-frequency voltage setting unit that sets high-frequency voltages; a circuit operating unit that operates an electric power conversion circuit to apply each of the high-frequency voltages to a corresponding one of winding groups of a rotating electric machine; and a rotation angle estimating unit that estimates a rotation angle of the rotating electric machine based on at least one of high-frequency currents that flow in the winding groups upon application of the high-frequency voltages to the winding groups. Moreover, the high-frequency voltage setting unit sets the high-frequency voltages based on the spatial phase difference between the winding groups so that in a fixed coordinate system of the rotating electric machine, the magnitude of a resultant vector of a plurality of high-frequency voltage vectors, which are respectively applied to the winding groups, becomes smaller than the magnitude of each of the high-frequency voltage vectors.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a system and method to determine at least one parameter of a motor, such as an inductance. The inductance can be determined, such as based on one or more digitally sampled motor winding currents. A digital filter can be applied to the digital samples such as to determine a slope of the motor winding currents. The digital filter can include a least squares fit that can be applied to the digital samples, such as to determine a slope of the motor winding currents. The least squares fit can be determined based on a computation of central tendencies such as an average value of time, an average value of current, an average value of the square of time, and the average value of the product of time and current. The average values can be determined recursively to provide improved computational speed.
