Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for measuring, filtering, and reporting cross-link interference (CLI) in cases where not all aggressor user equipments (UEs) are transmitting signals that can be measured by a victim UE. A UE may obtain a set of CLI measurements by performing CLI measurements during a set of CLI measurement occasions. The UE may determine a first subset of the set of CLI measurements that satisfy a CLI measurement threshold and a second subset of the set of CLI measurements that do not satisfy the CLI measurement threshold. The UE may apply a filter to the first subset of the set of CLI measurements, and suppress the filter for the second subset of the set of CLI measurements, to obtain a filtered CLI measurement value. The UE may transmit the filtered CLI measurement value to a base station.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to managing sidelink interference on resources shared with a direct link in a wireless communication network are provided. A first user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), a configuration indicating one or more sidelink interference measurement resources for determining an interference from a sidelink to a direct link of the BS. The first UE communicates, with a second UE, a reference signal in at least a first sidelink interference measurement resource of the one or more sidelink interference measurement resources, where one of the first UE or the second UE is associated with the sidelink, and where the other one of the first UE or the second UE is associated with the direct link.

A user equipment (UE) that is configured with two sets of power control parameters may be signaled (e.g., via downlink control information (DCI)) as to which set of parameters to use for determining the transmission power on a sidelink channel. The UE may determine a transmit power for a sidelink message based on the indication included in the DCI. The base station may transmit the indication based on whether uplink or downlink communications are scheduled on resources that may overlap with resources used for transmission of the sidelink message.

The UE may select, based at least in part on a decoding limit for the UE, a decoding configuration to use for decoding one or more control resources from the first plurality of control resources and one or more resources from the second plurality of control resources. The UE may decode control signals received over control resources from the first plurality of control resources and the second plurality of control resources according to the decoding configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a base station may transmit control information to a user equipment (UE) in search space candidates within a configured search space. To flexibly configure the search space, the base station may determine a reference aggregation level. The base station may add a number of pseudo search space candidates to the reference aggregation level such that the control channel element (CCE) footprint of the reference aggregation level can handle nesting all of the candidates for other aggregation levels. In some cases, the base station may overbook the search space past a CCE limit. The base station may implement an overbooking rule to determine search space candidates to drop from the configuration. The base station may transmit using the search space configuration, and the UE may monitor and decode information according to the configuration.

Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit a user equipment (UE) to transition among different power configurations, which include different values for different power parameters, that impact an amount of power consumed by the UE. In some aspects, these transitions may be signaled by a base station based at least in part on traffic volume for the UE, which may assist with improving throughput and/or extending battery life of the UE. Furthermore, these transitions may be signaled dynamically, such as in downlink control information (DCI) and/or a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) MAC-CE, which may conserve battery power and/or network resources as compared to reconfiguring the UE using an RRC message, and which may allow the UE to be reconfigured quickly as conditions associated with the UE change.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for communicating a satellite behavior change. In one aspect, a satellite identifies a satellite behavior change to occur for the satellite of a non-terrestrial network for cellular communications. The apparatus also signals the satellite behavior change to a user equipment serviced by the satellite. In another aspect, a user equipment obtains, from a satellite servicing the user equipment, a signaling of a satellite behavior change to occur for the satellite. The user equipment also adjusts one or more user equipment parameters for cellular communication based on the obtained signaling. The satellite behavior change may include a satellite attitude or a transmit power or coverage area of one or more satellite beams. The user equipment parameters may include satellite or beam selection or reselection to listen to paging information, satellite or beam handover parameters, or transmit power control parameters.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to support complexity reduction for a control resource set (CORESET). A low complexity user equipment (UE) may experience reduced performance if a number of resource block (RB) groups in a CORESET is above a given threshold, or if any symbols of a CORESET are multiplexed with any other signal or channel. A base station may configure a CORESET for a low complexity UE to support reduction in complexity of information detection compared with a CORESET configured for other UEs. The configured CORESET may be based on one or more capabilities of a low complexity UE and may include a reduced number of RB groups or may avoid overlapping with any other signal or channel. If a CORESET configured for a low complexity UE is does not support complexity reduction, the UE may suppress decoding search space candidates on the CORESET.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some cases, due to blind decoding and channel estimation (CE) limits, one or more user equipment (UE) specific search sets may be pruned for blind decoding and/or CE purposes. For instance, after hashing a set of common decoding candidates to control channel elements (CCEs) within the control region, the UE specific search sets may be pruned so as to conform to the blind decode limitation, since a common search space has already occupied a portion of the total blind decode limit. Following pruning, the UE may hash the sets of UE-specific decoding candidates associated with the one or more UE specific search sets to CCEs within the control region. The UE may further prune UE specific search sets, based on CE limits, while reusing CE for overlapping hashed locations.
