The stroke simulator includes a simulator piston which is displaced by sliding on a sliding surface formed in a first cylinder, and a first return spring which is housed in the first cylinder and applies, to the simulator piston, a reaction force which is generated by an elastic deformation of the spring under a pressing force due to a displacement of the simulator piston, and generates the reaction force which is applied to the simulator piston as a brake reaction force for a brake operating element. The stroke simulator is characterized in that a cup seal for sealing a gap formed between the sliding surface and the simulator piston is mounted in the middle in the axial direction of the sliding surface.

The vehicle control system includes a steering angle acquiring module, a yaw rate acquiring module that acquires a yaw rate, and a road surface friction coefficient estimation module. The vehicle control system further includes a behavior stabilization control module and a reduction gradient setting module. The behavior stabilization control module executes a behavior stabilization control to exert a braking force on a wheel brake when a vehicle is turning to thereby reduce a deviation between the yaw rate and a target yaw rate. And, the reduction gradient setting module sets a reduction gradient of the braking force when the behavior stabilization control is to be ended, based on the steering angle and the road surface friction coefficient.

A hole wall of the mounting hole portion has a plastically deformed portion formed by pressing the hole wall in a downward direction of the mounting hole portion. A locking groove for the plastically deformed portion to enter is formed on an outer circumferential surface of the electromagnetic valve. An outside diameter of the electromagnetic valve at an upper side of the locking groove is made smaller than an outside diameter of the electromagnetic valve at a lower side of the locking groove.
