Abstract: An acoustic system can include an acoustic processor that is configured to analyze and output acoustic signals to each of first and second loudspeakers corresponding to each of first and second acoustic zones of a shared acoustic space. The system can determine a first measure of loudness associated with a first acoustic signal. The system can be configured to output the first acoustic signal as sound on the first loudspeaker in the first acoustic zone. The system can determine a second measure of loudness associated with a second acoustic signal. The system can be configured to output the second acoustic signal as sound on the second loudspeaker in the second acoustic zone. The system can also modify the second acoustic signal based on the first acoustic signal.

Abstract: A door handle includes a door handle case and an electrostatic sensor provided in the door handle case. The electrostatic sensor includes a detection electrode that is formed of a flat conductor plate, or that is formed on a surface of a flat substrate or within a flat substrate. The detection electrode includes a middle portion in a longitudinal direction of the detection electrode and includes peripheral portions proximal to both end portions of the detection electrode in the longitudinal direction. For a width of the detection electrode in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, each peripheral portion is wider than the middle portion, and the width of the detection electrode gradually increases toward each end portion in the longitudinal direction.

Abstract: A rotation angle detecting method includes measuring a current flowing through a motor, and obtaining a rotation angle of the motor based on a value of the measured current. The obtaining of the rotation angle of the motor includes obtaining the rotation angle in an inertial rotation of the motor based on a rotational angular velocity of the motor immediately before a first time point, a time period from the first time point to a second time point, and a time period from the second time point to a third time point. The first time point is a time point at which driving of the motor is stopped, the second time point is a time point at which a polarity of the value of the measured current is inverted, and the third time point is a time point at which the value of the measured current becomes zero.
