摘要: Neuromuscular monitoring is described that uses a novel lead assembly and a monitor that can select the appropriate electrodes on the lead assembly and calibrate the stimulation signals applied to the patient through the lead assembly. The monitoring can also set a noise floor value to reduce the likelihood of an erroneous train of four ratio.

摘要: The digital suture devices can accurately record electrical activity in muscles, while reducing both tissue damage and increasing ease of use. In some examples, the digital suture device can include an adapter configured to be connected to a data collection and/or stimulus control system. The device can further include a sensor body electrically and mechanically connected to the adapter. The sensor body may include one or more sensor members extending from the adapter. Each sensor member may include a first section distal to the adapter, a second section including one or more arrays of one or more stimulating/sensing sites, and a third section configured to be used with a delivery device. The second section may be disposed between the first section and the third section. Each sensor member may include one or more sets of tissue engaging members disposed along a length of the second section.

摘要: Example systems for positioning an implantable electrode may include a stimulation circuitry, a sensing circuitry, and processing circuitry. The stimulation circuitry may generate electrical stimulation deliverable to a patient. The sensing circuitry may sense electromyographic (EMG) responses. The processing circuitry may control the stimulation circuitry to deliver the electrical stimulation at a plurality of different stimulation metric levels at each of a plurality of different positions. The processing circuitry may sense, via the sensing circuitry, electromyographic (EMG) responses to the electrical stimulation. The processing circuitry may score one or more of the different positions for chronic implantation of at least one implantable electrode. The scoring may be based on a stimulation metric level greater than a predetermined metric threshold sufficient to evoke at least some of the sensed EMG responses, and a level of the at least some of the sensed EMG responses.

摘要: The present invention relates to a physiological recording electrode, and, more particularly, to an EEG (electroencephalography) recording electrode that can be used without the need for numerous steps in preparing the subject's skin and the electrode itself. The invention further relates to a surface feature or penetrator with a size and shape which that will not bend or break, which limits the depth of application, and/or anchors the electrode or other device during normal application; and a packaging system comprising a well and electrolytic fluid for maintaining a coating of said electrolytic fluid on the surface feature or penetrator.

摘要: In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides examples of a method for treating a demyelinating neuropathy. Electrodes can be placed on a muscle area of a patient to acquire a compound muscle action potential (CMAP) measure of the muscle integrity of the patient. A biological sample of the patient can be obtained. The patient can be identified as having a demyelinating neuropathy by inputting a conduction measure associated with a CMAP amplitude comprised in the CMAP measure into a regression model to determine a conduction measure that is within a demyelinating range defined by the regression model and determining, from the biological sample of the patient, a biomarker activity measure of the patient that is above a predetermined threshold. The method includes administering to the patient identified as having a demyelinating neuropathy a therapeutically effective amount of at least one agent used to treat the demyelinating neuropathy.

摘要: A vibrating device and an operation method thereof. The vibrating device includes multiple electromyography sensors, a force sensor, multiple vibrators and a controller. The electromyography sensors are respectively disposed at different positions of a user to obtain multiple pieces of electromyography information respectively. The vibrators are disposed adjacent to or overlapping with the electromyography sensors. During a setting period, the controller makes the vibrators vibrate according to a preset vibration waveform. During the setting period, the controller records multiple pieces of force information generated by the force sensor corresponding to multiple different applied forces of the user and the pieces of electromyography information generated by the electromyography sensors. The controller obtains multiple characteristic frequency parameters according to the corresponding pieces of electromyography information. The controller establishes a relational model between the characteristic frequency parameters and the pieces of force information.

摘要: Biometric information about a person may be collected and analyzed to gain insight into the person's physical and/or emotional conditions. The collection and analysis may be performed using a uniquely designed sensing device that includes multiple sets of sensors configured to collect EEG, EOG, EMG, EDA, and/or PPG signals from the person's head and/or facial areas. The sensing device may include a multi-layered facepad and may be coupled to a VR/AR headset and/or a scalp engagement apparatus to monitor the person's physiological and/or neural reactions to audio/visual stimuli.
