Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for determining the layout of a form automatically to accommodate text in the form. Under the method and apparatus, a set of parameters define the sizing and alignment of elements of the form. Sizing and positioning instructions that are separate from the sizing and alignment parameters set the sizing and positioning of elements of the form based on the sizing and alignment parameters. The instructions determine the minimum size for the form, based in part on text in the form. The difference between the minimum size for the form and a desired size for the form is then distributed across the form to size and position the elements in the form.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to inflatable balloon catheters and methods for deploying an inflatable balloon catheter. For example, one embodiment is directed to a catheter assembly that includes a catheter comprising proximal and distal ends and at least one longitudinal conduit extending between the proximal and distal ends. The catheter assembly also includes an inflatable balloon comprising proximal and distal ends and configured to be at least partially positioned within the longitudinal conduit when the balloon is uninflated. The inflatable balloon is further configured to be inflated when deployed from the conduit such that a diameter of the proximal end of the inflatable balloon remains substantially constant and a diameter of the distal end of the inflatable balloon is variable and capable of at least partially occluding a lumen.

Abstract: The universal adapter of the present invention comprises an adapter body having at least one set of power sockets, a power plug and a conductive unit, wherein the power plug has a fixed unit and a rotating unit that is located both ends of the fixed unit inside the adapter body. Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus to facilitate the easy removal or release of a seatbelt or similar safety harness device during an emergency. The apparatus of the invention provides a practical and easy means of releasing a seatbelt or similar safety harness that is jammed or difficult to remove during an auto accident or other emergency. The apparatus is comprised of an Emergency Seatbelt Release (ESR) box which is attached to the seatbelt, preferably at or near the tongue connector of the seatbelt such that the seatbelt passes through the ESR box. The ESR box contains a sharp edged cutting instrument attached to a trigger handle contained in a compartment within the ESR box. The compartment containing the trigger handle has a protective quick access cover so that it will not be inadvertently pulled or snagged in non-emergency situations. When the protective cover is removed, the trigger handle becomes accessible with the aid of compression springs which extend and eject the trigger handle. In an emergency, the trigger handle is pulled and the sharp edge cutting instrument is drawn along the seatbelt, cutting it completely in one forward motion.
