Abstract:
In order to multiply operands of different binary lengths using a common combined array, for example to do both 8 bit by 8 bit and 16 bit by 16 bit multiplications, 2.sup.m-1 multiplications are performed, where m is equal to the number of different bit lengths it is desired to multiply. For example, where 8.times.8 bit and 16.times.16 bit multiplications are done, 2 different multiplications are done. Each multiplication is an n.times.n/2.sup.m-1 multiplication, e.g., a 16.times.8 bit multiplication. Sign correction is performed by adding a correction vector or by modifying one of the partial products. The results of the multiplications are added together to obtain a 2 n bit result. Groups of bits from said 2 n result are selected depending on the length of the operands being multiplied.

This invention provides novel reagents for the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals useful as imaging agents for the diagnosis of cardiovascular disorders, infection, inflammation and cancer, diagnostic kits comprising said reagents and intermediate compounds useful for the preparation of said reagents. The reagents are comprised of stable hydrazone modified biologically active molecules that react with gamma emitting radioisotopes to form radiopharmaceuticals that selectively localize at sites of disease and thus allow an image to be obtained of the loci using gamma scintigraphy.

This invention relates to compounds and methods for use in determining renal function by means of scintigraphic urography. More specifically, this invention relates to radionuclide complexes of ester-substituted diaminethiols, radiopharmaceutical compositions comprising said complexes, kits for the preparation of said compositions, and a method of using said compositions for examining renal function. A device for detecting properties of soft tissue. The device comprises a probe coupled to drive means to urge the probe against the soft tissue, a detector for determining applied stress to the soft tissue, and an ultrasonic transmitter configured to, in use, transmit ultrasound waves through at least a portion of the probe and through the soft tissue. A system including the device is also provided along with a corresponding method.

This invention provides the end-to-end control, networking, and data management for information presentation services (Service 1) and collaboration services (Service 2) the 1.) identification of events, 2.) generation of push invitations to such events, 3.) personalization of ebooks via reader-author collaboration to embed Personalized Multimedia Autographs (PMAs) into the ebook or other media, 4.) event line control allowing readers to browse the bookstore or mingle while waiting for collaboration with the author during these events, 5.) capability for the readers and author to discuss the event on social media after the readers have registered for the event enabling the author to tailor his/her comments at the event to the readers' interests; 6.) synchronization and archival of the PMA among all of the reader's devices, 7.) integration of special services such as reserved seating as well as food and beverage that may make invitations to such events in the future very exclusive. This invention may be implemented using any one of several embodiments depending upon the venue ranging from small local venues conducting a single author signing to large venues conducting many author presentations and signings in parallel. It also supports the case when the book is authored by two individuals.

A single folding case that defines two recesses and retains all additional component parts for storage and transport. A first recess of the case is used to retain a mirror on the inner recess surface and provide a recess area for retained other internal component parts. The second recess retaining an applicator/tweezer like eyelash installation tool and rectangular drawer, and a semi-circular recess for retaining two semi-circular eyelash trays. The applicator/tweezer has a rounded proximal end and a two-pronged distal end. In use, a user would take the applicator/tweezer and secure both of the prongs located on the distal end and engage them with the eyelash cartridge. Once the applicator has eyelash cartridges attached, as user would then proceed to press the eyelash on at the desired location. The eyelash would then remain and be retained to the face by glue.

A stopper for securing an end of a lace in an article having at least one eyelet, such as a shoe, without having to form an exposed knot. A thin, rigid body includes a series of openings arranged in a row, including a first, middle opening through which the lace is routed from the eyelet, a second opening proximate one end through which the lace is routed from the middle opening, and a third opening proximate an opposite through which the lace is routed from the second opening via the first end of the body, the third opening having a slot-shaped configuration. When tension is applied to the lace, as by a foot being inserted into a shoe, a locking engagement is formed between the lace and stopper and the stopper reacts against the eyelet. The stopper may be hidden from view behind the eyelet stay of a shoe.

The inhaler also has an inhalation exit flow path in the inhaler body in communication with at least one blister or at least one dose container held by the strip in a dispensing position and a piercer configured to release dry powder medicament from the blister or dose container in the dispensing position.
