Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for generating quasi equally spaced multi-channel frequencies using a frequency shifter. The optical multi-channel transmission system using OFDM or WDM can be provided with quasi equally spaced(unequally sequential spaced) frequencies on the basis of the functional relation among the frequency differences(n.sub.ij =n.sub.i -n.sub.j (i=j=1,2,3, . . . n)) of any two neighboring channels. Namely, after generating equally spaced frequencies by using a reference resonator, such as a Fiber Fabry Perot(FFP) resonator, each of the equally spaced frequencies is sequentially shifted by a frequency shifter, which generates and controls the quasi equally spaced(unequally sequential spaced) frequencies in order to effectively avoid crosstalk due to FFWM, and fully make use of the transmission bandwidth belonging to the low dispersion region of the optical fiber. the effect of the present invention will be apparent as follows: by easily generating and controlling quasi equally spaced frequencies having a functional relation between two adjacent channels, crosstalk due to Fiber Four Wave Mixing(FFWM) is effectively avoided, and the transmission bandwidth in the region of the low dispersion is fully utilized. Furthermore, the compatibility is easily accomplished.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a developing device of an electrophotographic recording system for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on a photosensitive drum. The developing device includes a hopper which stores toner and a developing roller which develops the electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum using the toner stored in the hopper. On one side of the hopper at a predetermined height from its bottom, a light-emitting element for emitting light is positioned. A toner detecting device detects the existence or non-existence of toner by using a light-receiving element positioned on the interior of the hopper which outputs signals corresponding to the existence or non-existence of toner in the hopper in response to the amount of the light received from the light-emitting element. An agitator conveys the toner to the developing roller and simultaneously cleans a light-emitting side of the light-emitting element and a light-receiving side of the light-receiving element in synchronism with a conveyance period of the toner. A signal transmitting device transmits signals from the light-receiving element to a CPU which compares the number of signals with a predetermined value, thereby determining a level of the toner.

Abstract:
Provided is a method of manufacturing a solar cell, wherein a solar cell is manufactured by combining a damage removal etching process, a texturing process and an edge isolation process. The method is advantageous in that RIE and DRE are conducted, and then DRE/PSG and/or an edge isolation removal process are simultaneously conducted, so that the movement of a substrate (that is, a wafer) is minimized, thereby reducing the damage rate of the substrate.
