Abstract:
A packaged image sensor assembly utilizes a spacer paste to control the height of a transparent window above an image sensor die to provide safe wire bond clearance. A dam structure is used to control the height of the transparent window. The dam may be formed either entirely from spacer paste or by depositing the spacer paste on an underlying patterned mesa. An additional encapsulant is provided outside of the dam to encapsulate wirebonds and provide additional protection from moisture permeation.
Abstract:
A charge pump apparatus comprises a plurality of charge pump stages. The charge pump stages each include a respective output node. Output nodes are connected to charge boosting circuitry and to precharge circuitry. The charge boosting circuit receives one or more clock signals. The precharge circuits have a first state allowing the respective pump-stage output node to fluctuate at a level above a standby wordline voltage, and a second state coupling the respective pump-stage output node to the standby wordline voltage.
Abstract:
A linear light-emitting diode (LED)-based solid-state device comprising a curved surface to hold a flexible printed circuit board with multiple linear arrays of surface mount LEDs provides lighting applications with a broad viewing angle over 180° along the radial direction. On each of the two lamp bases of the lamp, a shock-protection switch is mounted to prevent shock hazard during re-lamping.
Abstract:
A multimedia device and a motion compensation method thereof are provided for generating a middle frame between two frames. The multimedia device includes an interpolation unit, a linear process unit and a combination unit. The interpolation unit generates a first reference pixel data according to the relationship among a first pixel data, a second pixel data, and a third pixel data. The first and the second pixel data are obtained according to the location of a to-be-generated pixel and a relative motion vector. The third pixel data is obtained according to the two pixels data. The linear process unit provides a linear combination of the first and the second pixel data to generate a second reference pixel data. The combination unit combines the two reference pixel data according to the difference between the first and the second pixel data to generate a pixel data for the to-be-generated pixel.
Abstract:
An apparatus, system and method for adaptively controlling a frame interval between ultrasound scanning frames of an ultrasound elasticity imaging scan. The system includes a transmitter for transmitting ultrasound beams to a subject during an ultrasound elasticity imaging scan, and a receiver for receiving ultrasound beam echoes from the subject responsive to transmitted ultrasound beams. The system also includes a processor for processing a plurality of the ultrasound beam echoes to determine a strain variation of the tissue undergoing strain, calculating a value for an ultrasound scanning frame interval adapted for imaging the tissue undergoing the determined strain variation, and setting the value of the ultrasound scanning frame interval for acquiring ultrasound elasticity images of the tissue undergoing the determined strain variation.
Abstract:

The connector is disposed at the motherboard and at one side of the opening. The expansion card is inserted to the connector in order to be placed in the opening and coplanar with the motherboard. The motherboard, the connector and the expansion card are in the housing.
Abstract:
A power supply system includes a power converter, a switch, and a controller. The power converter is operable for providing power to a load. The switch is coupled to the power converter and is operable for adjusting the power to the load. The switch has a gate, a source and a drain. The controller is coupled to the switch and is operable for controlling a state of the switch. The controller has a first control terminal for providing a gate voltage to the gate of the switch, a second control terminal for providing a source voltage to the source of the switch, and an input terminal for receiving a supply voltage via the source of the switch. The controller is also operable for limiting the supply voltage within a predetermined maximum level by regulating the gate voltage to a preset level.
Abstract:
A system and method of correcting baseline wander (BLW) are disclosed. An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) converts an analog input to a digital output, and a slicer maps the digital output to one of a plurality of predefined values. A BLW correction unit generates a BLW correction value according to a difference between an input and an output of the slicer. A correction controller generates a fine correction value and a coarse correction value according to the BLW correction value. Specifically, the fine correction value is used to correct the digital output of the ADC, and the coarse correction value is used to correct the analog input of the ADC.
