摘要: A battery assembly includes a casing with a casing wall having inner and outer surfaces and an opening therethrough and being shaped such that a coolant chamber is formed within the casing adjacent to the opening. A sleeve including a compressible material is inserted through the opening. The sleeve is shaped such that a sealing portion thereof is positioned over the outer surface of the casing wall. A battery cell is inserted into the sleeve such that at least a portion of the battery cell is positioned within the coolant chamber. A sealing member is coupled to the casing such that a force is applied onto the sealing portion of the sleeve causing the sealing portion of the sleeve to at least partially compress and seal the coolant chamber.

摘要: A method for gathering information from battery sensors—for instance, information regarding the state-of-charge (SOC), temperature and/or other characteristics of battery cells in a vehicle battery pack—and using that information to estimate or predict battery degradation or state-of-health (SOH). According to an exemplary embodiment, the method uses both a time-based algorithm and an event-based algorithm to predict or estimate battery degradation. The event-based algorithm may select certain data from the battery conditions (e.g., a state-of-charge (SOC) swing (ΔSOC) or an SOC maximum (SOCMax)), instead of using the entire set of battery condition data, and may use this information in its prediction or estimate.

摘要: For preparing a gas stream cleaned from dust and dirt particles, a device is proposed in which an outflow channel (2) for cleaned medium has at its mouth in an inflow channel (1) an extension element (4), which projects into the inflow channel. A cover element (6) covers an end inflow aperture (4a) of the extension element. In an embodiment of the invention, the extension element (4) has lateral inlet apertures (5). The cover element (6) is preferably constituted hood-shaped, and has axial extension elements (6a), which at least partially cover the extension element (4) in the axial direction, and advantageously extend over the lateral inlet apertures. The stream entering the outflow channel (2) for cleaned medium must overcome strong flow deflections, so that particles with a low flow following ability cannot get into this channel. Further outflow channels (3) for conducting the remaining dust-laden medium are arranged substantially flush with the wall (7) of the inflow channel.

摘要: A utility knife includes a body having a groove adapted to receive a blade. The groove has a plurality of tabs defined on at least a first side. The utility knife also includes a slide assembly device positioned in the body for sliding movement with respect to the body. The slide assembly device includes a housing with a first engaging member having a first protrusion and a second engaging member having a second protrusion releasably engaged with the tabs. The slide assembly device also includes a rocker attached to the housing that is operatively connected to at least one of the engaging members. The rocker is operable for disengaging the first protrusion or second protrusion with respect to the tabs. Disengaging one of the first and second protrusions by the rocker allows sliding movement of the slide assembly device with respect to the body.

摘要: The invention relates to an impact flow for wall sections including a plurality of impact openings which are arranged on a plane in a flat or curved support. The support is fitted it a distance from the wall section, and the impact surface of the wall section that is to be cooled is configured as a bulged relief. The bulge elements are arranged around the impact surface of the impact beam. The surfaces of the bulge elements facing the impact beam include two curves which blend into one another.
